The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, June 24, reveals that Tom (Clint Howard) apologized to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) over the spilled water and for overstepping with his earlier comments about her.
Tom made it clear that he didn’t want to cause trouble and hoped Sheila would let him prove himself.
After Tom said he tended to win people over, Sheila softened a bit and shared how glad she was that Tom saved her life.
Tom was glad about that too and said he was a firm believer in second chances.
Since Sheila had been given so many chances herself, Tom assumed she felt the same way and added that it was never too late to change.
However, Tom kept spying on Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) and watching curiously as Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) joined her table with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Luna, Poppy and Bill all enjoyed their first real outing as a family, which led to Bill insisting they should focus on the future instead of the years they missed out on. Bill also made a prediction that nothing would ever tear them apart.
At one point, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) approached the table and learned from Bill that Luna was his daughter.
That came as a shock to Deacon, but he congratulated Bill and joked about the Spencer family getting a lot better looking.
Tom later asked Deacon for the scoop on who that guy was, so Deacon told him about “Dollar Bill” Spencer and the lovely new lady in his life.
Deacon also mentioned that Bill found out he was Luna’s father, so Tom was taken aback.
On Monday’s B&B episode, Tom continued watching Bill, Poppy and Luna as they took their first Spencer family selfie together.
At Forrester Creations, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) told Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) that he made her whole year with his surprise and let him know how much she missed him.
Hope told Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) that she missed him too before Douglas ran to the kitchen for a snack.
After Thomas said Hope looked beautiful, Hope replied that he looked as handsome as ever.
Although part of Hope knew why Thomas had to go, another part of her didn’t really understand.
Thomas’ decision to leave really threw Hope for a loop, so Thomas asked if she was OK.
Hope was trying to hang in there, but she confessed to confusing feelings and said she hadn’t been herself.
After Hope once again expressed how glad she was that Thomas and Douglas were back, she admitted things hadn’t been the same without Thomas working on Hope for the Future.
Hope said she’d been feeling lost, but Thomas acted like she could handle anything.
However, Hope wasn’t as certain of that anymore and teared up over how much Thomas’ commitment had meant to her.
Despite Hope’s attempt to bury everything she’d been feeling, she reiterated that Thomas had been missed and pulled him into an emotional embrace.
Hope assured Thomas that she never meant to hurt him, but he pointed out that she still did when she turned down his proposal twice.
Once Hope explained why she wasn’t ready for marriage again, she assured Thomas that she hadn’t wanted their relationship to end.
Hope had to wonder why Thomas was back now, so she asked if they could be together again and if he came back to give them another chance.
Douglas returned from the kitchen just before Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) popped up next.
That led to Douglas calling Paris “Mom,” so a baffled Hope questioned why he would do that.
As Paris put her hand on Douglas’ shoulder, her new engagement ring was clearly visible.
Thomas stunned Hope with the news that he was engaged to Paris now and said they were going to be married.
