The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, November 4, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) stood by her decision to fire Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and made it clear that she wasn’t changing her mind.
Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) rejoined Steffy, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) to confirm that Hope was off the premises.
Charlie also revealed that he’d taken down Hope’s photos and revoked her security privileges – just like Steffy ordered.
Ridge was concerned about the PR drama this could cause and mentioned that he’d need to talk to Katie Logan (Heather Tom), who was the head of PR and marketing.
Steffy pointed out that Katie was still a Logan and seemingly thought Katie would be in Hope’s corner.
Steffy noted that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) would need to be brought in the loop as well – and she expected pushback since he’d been such a staunch Hope supporter lately.
Ridge found out Steffy had already shut down Hope’s email and eventually wondered what they should tell the team. Taylor suggested they stick to the simple truth that Hope was fired.
Ridge also wanted to speak with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and make sure she got updates from him instead of someone else.
Taylor pointed out that everyone needed to know that the decision was final and that Ridge supported Steffy.
After Steffy said it was nice to not be contradicted or overruled, she acknowledged that Brooke was going to defend her daughter.
Steffy pushed Ridge to stay strong and not let the Logans change his mind about Hope.
At Brooke’s house on Monday’s B&B episode, Carter brought Hope in and assured her that they’d fix this.
Hope wasn’t even sure she wanted to fix it since Forrester hadn’t been a good place for her in a long time.
Carter argued that they could make it a good place for her and reiterated that Steffy wouldn’t get away with this. After Carter said he’d fight for Hope, he pulled her into a hug.
Brooke came home and noticed something was wrong, so Hope admitted Steffy fired her.
Hope ultimately explained how she was trying on lingerie to model for Carter when she fell on John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) – just in time for Steffy to see and misconstrue the situation.
However, Hope refused to throw Carter under the bus and jeopardize his position by revealing their romance.
It would just reinforce Steffy’s negative view of Hope and make things more difficult for Carter.
Hope pointed out that the Forresters never questioned Carter’s ideas until he started defending her.
The truth would only hurt Carter, so Hope wanted to keep his name out of all this.
Brooke argued that Ridge was co-CEO and wouldn’t let this happen, but Hope said he already did.
Hope explained that Ridge backed Steffy up by pushing her to leave.
After Hope talked about being escorted to the elevator and being humiliated in front of other employees, she noted that Taylor was there, too.
Hope felt like Steffy was trying to shame her based on how it all went down.
Brooke was stunned over Ridge’s actions and wasn’t happy about Taylor being on hand for all the drama.
Carter maintained that he wouldn’t let Steffy and Ridge get away with this before clutching Hope’s hand and kissing it.
