The Bold and the Beautiful recap and spoilers for Friday, January 19 reveal that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) give into passion. Eric Forrester (John McCook) assures Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Plus, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) get the keys to Wyatt Spencer’s (Darin Brooks) beach house.
Eric wants Ridge to understand. Ridge says he does understand, he said he was at peace.
Eric talks about the afterlife and how wonderful it is there. Ridge asks Eric if he let him down, and if he wanted to stay in the afterlife.
Bill and Poppy talk about the dance. Bill isn’t embarrassed. Poppy comments that Bill seemed to enjoy it. Poppy dares Bill to dance like she did in front of everyone. Bill jokes about him being long past his disco dancing days.
Then, Bill wants to have Poppy all to himself, so he doesn’t have to share her with anyone.
Luna walks into the office while RJ is stretching and shirtless. Luna quickly pops some gum before offering to help RJ put his shirt on.
Luna can’t stop caressing his shoulders and chest. RJ tells Luna that Eric is getting released today.
Then, RJ tells Luna that he rented a beach house. It’s close to Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) place. RJ says he moves in today.
Luna is excited about the beach house. RJ wanted to make sure it was a done deal before telling Luna. Luna’s amazed he was able to find something so quickly.
They kiss and Wyatt interrupts. Wyatt says, “This must be the girlfriend.” RJ introduces Luna and Wyatt. Wyatt apologizes for the timing. RJ jokes about how they get interrupted all the time.
RJ tells Luna that Wyatt owns the beach house. Wyatt hands RJ a key and suggests he make a copy if he’s going to have guests, nodding toward Luna.
Bill and Poppy seem to view the romance differently even only after two dates. Poppy tells Bill to dance with her. Poppy suggests Bill live in the moment and let whatever happens just happen.
Bill talks about their magical night. Bill tells Poppy that he wants to be alone with her. Then, they can dance… all night long.
Ridge says he was torn. Ridge explains the turmoil of the decision. Eric tells Ridge it’s okay and he understands. Eric looks sad.
Wyatt talks about all the special memories at the beach house. RJ says Wyatt can come by anytime. Wyatt says he’ll make sure to call first. Luna asks where Wyatt’s going. Wyatt doesn’t know.
Wyatt isn’t sure if he’s staying in LA or spreading his wings yet. Wyatt tells RJ and Luna to make amazing memories together in the beach house.
Bill’s phone vibrates. Bill can’t stop staring at Poppy. Poppy asks if he’s going to get his phone. Bill says it can wait. Bill and Poppy talk about that night all those years ago.
Bill tells Poppy he hasn’t stopped being able to think about her. Bill hasn’t forgotten about that night and thinks she hasn’t either, Bill suggests they do something to rectify that situation. Bill throws cash on the table and they exit.
Eric talks about how blessed he is. The afterlife is beautiful. But as wonderful as it was there, he is grateful and happy he is to be back home.
Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) suddenly runs in and jumps up and down. Zende gushes about how it’s true that Granddad is home. Zende really seems to be overdoing it.
Zende says it’s a miracle and he never stopped believing despite the odds. Eric says he feels really good and is ready to go back to work. Everyone freaks out and Eric laughs. Then, he says he will rest “for a while.”
Eric is proud of Zende and thanks him for all the hospital visits. Zende says next to his dad, Eric is the man that he admires the most.
Luna can’t believe this is real. Being at Forrester Creations, the romance with RJ, the beach house in Malibu. It’s like a dream to Luna because her life growing up was so different.
Luna talks about how they never had much, but Poppy always made sure that Luna never felt poor. Luna looked up to the way Poppy loved and lived so openly and freely with no excuses or apologies.
However, Luna says when it comes to relationships, she’s glad she’s waited for the right guy. RJ is glad, too. RJ asks if Luna wants to see the new place, so they take off.
Bill brings Poppy to the beach house. Bill says it’s one of his properties and says Wyatt is moving out. Poppy takes a pill, which she says is a mint. She doesn’t offer Bill one of her alleged mints…
Poppy says she’s not much of a drinker. Bill and Poppy talk about the beach house.
Bill says Wyatt found a renter but they don’t know what’s happening long-term. Bill and Poppy kiss.
Bill talks about Poppy dancing in front of the bonfire. Bill says Poppy is unlike any woman he’s ever known.
Poppy feels like this is leading somewhere. Bill suggests the bedroom. Bill takes Poppy’s hand. Poppy stops. Poppy tells Bill that Li is judgmental and thinks he’s after wealthy men.
Poppy makes it clear that she doesn’t need a man. Bill says he knows she doesn’t need him, but he senses she wants him. Just like he wants her. They kiss and go to the bedroom.
RJ takes Luna into the beach house. They walk into the living room and Luna gushes about it. Luna uses the word awesome.
They hug and RJ hopes she’ll be spending a lot of time there. Meanwhile, Bill and Poppy get undressed.
Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) says they didn’t want to overwhelm Eric. Eric says he’s not tired, it’s energizing.
Eric feels bad about keeping his illness a secret. He tries to explain what he was thinking at the time. Eric knows he should’ve been honest.
Zende says they understand. Eric says after seeing the afterlife, there is nothing to fear.
Eric says it means they are free to live their lives the way they want to. Brooke adds that they need to cherish their time together.
Eric says they need to make the most of the time they have left. Everyone agrees and expresses their love to one another.
