The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, July 19, reveals that the news about Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Paul “Hollis” Hollister’s (Hollis W. Chambers) deaths spread in the newspaper, which also indicated that Il Giardino had been shut down for health hazards.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) spoke to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) over the phone and once again let him know how much his support meant to her.
Once Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) arrived, Steffy made it clear that whatever gray area Hope thought existed for Finn regarding Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) was gone.
Steffy ranted about Hope getting inside Finn’s head and warned her not to interfere again, so Hope lashed out over all the ways Steffy was manipulating her life – both personally and professionally.
Hope suggested that Steffy should be careful or else someone might cut her down to size.
Steffy scoffed since there was nothing Hope could do to her and reminded Hope that she was in charge at Forrester Creations – not Hope or Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Afterward, Steffy found the design office door locked and grabbed the key from the desk in the corridor so she could get inside.
When Steffy walked in, she was horrified to find Brooke and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) in a passionate moment on the desk.
Steffy urged Brooke to put some clothes on since she didn’t want to see that and especially didn’t want to see another Logan!
After Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) annual physical, he showed up in Finn’s office to give him credit for supporting the idea of Sheila being taken into custody for questioning.
Finn insisted his relationship with Steffy had never been stronger, so Liam assumed Finn was sending him a message.
Once Finn confirmed that he was, he said he knew Liam had been going to see Steffy and calling him a “Mama’s boy.”
However, Finn warned that it had to stop and told Liam not to interfere in his marriage.
In the Forrester backstage area, Hope talked to Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) over the phone about the designs she was looking at.
Hope was in the process of trying on a new one when Finn arrived, so he apologized for barging in.
Finn explained he was just looking for a quiet place to take a phone call, but Hope ended up seeking his opinion on Hope for the Future’s latest offerings.
Although Finn passed along some praise, he seemed uncomfortable and said he’d get out of Hope’s hair.
Hope flashed back to saying someone could cut Steffy down to size and urged Finn to stay since they needed to talk about something.
After Hope thanked Finn for his advice regarding Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), she said Steffy was lucky to have him – though she wasn’t sure how grateful Steffy was for her husband.
Hope went on a mini rant about Steffy’s disrespect and wondered if that’s what it was like for Finn at home.
Once Hope said Finn was a man who deserved to be appreciated, she admitted she found him attractive.
Hope would be lying if she said she didn’t think about what it’d be like to be with Finn.
Although Finn pointed out that Hope couldn’t talk this way, Hope said she knew and suggested they were both adults.
“Can’t a girl dream?” Hope asked as she leaned in close.
Our B&B predictions hint that lines could get crossed sooner or later if Hope has anything to say about it!
