The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, February 5, reveals that Eric Forrester (John McCook) seemed nervous as he turned down Donna Logan’s (Jennifer Gareis) offer of food.
John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was on his way over to deliver updates on Eric’s long-term prognosis, so Eric assumed Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) had been spying when they showed up to support him.
Once Finn arrived, he admitted that Eric’s markers were right in line. In fact, Eric was doing even better than his medical team could’ve hoped for.
That news thrilled Eric, Donna, Ridge and Brooke – though Finn made Eric promise to stay diligent about keeping his recovery on track.
Eric wanted to have a party to celebrate tonight, so he convinced Donna and the others to get on board after Finn left.
Since Eric wanted RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) to be there, he decided to get his grandson on the phone.
At the beach house on Monday’s B&B episode, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) told RJ that last night was more than she ever could’ve dreamed of and gave him a kiss.
Although Luna was concerned about morning breath being a turnoff, RJ reassured her and offered to make her an omelet.
Eric’s phone call eventually interrupted, so RJ answered and found out about Eric’s positive health report.
Eric also revealed his party plans and insisted Luna should be there, too. Since RJ loved Luna, Eric advised him not to let her go.
RJ disconnected and filled Luna in on the conversation, so she was surprised over Eric inviting her.
After RJ complimented Luna on her beauty and brains, he said Eric told him something really wise and hinted about hanging onto Luna.
RJ and Luna expressed their love before kissing and staring into each other’s eyes.
Back at the Forrester mansion, Eric was adamant about this party happening tonight and not in a week or two.
Although Eric wasn’t sure he’d ever be at 100 percent again, he was going to live life and do the best he could.
Ridge reminded Eric of how loved he was, so Eric said he’d never take that for granted again. Eric added that what happened to him changed his life forever and talked about feeling at home on the other side.
Now Eric wanted to bring that feeling of love and peace to the rest of his life, so Ridge seemed a little uneasy over his dad’s words.
