The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, July 15, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) received word from Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) that Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) from Il Giardino died, so he talked to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) about it before heading to the morgue.
Meanwhile, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) broke the news to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), so Brooke reflected on her one date with Hollis and hated to hear he was gone.
At Il Giardino, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) talked about what a loyal employee and good friend Hollis had been.
Since Tom Starr (Clint Howard) had died suddenly and now Hollis, Deacon wondered who was next.
Deacon felt responsible since he didn’t notice any warning signs that Hollis was sick or in trouble, but Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) insisted there was nothing he could’ve done and gave him a comforting hug.
At home on Monday’s B&B episode, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) mentioned that Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) had been preoccupied and got in late the other night.
Although Bill worried that Poppy seemed stressed, she pretended everything was fine.
Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) rushed in after getting updates on Hollis’ grim fate, so she was upset over losing a friend.
Poppy and Bill consoled Luna before Poppy said she had someplace to be, which left her bolting from the mansion in a hurry.
Bill continued to support Luna after Poppy left and asked if she had any idea where Poppy was off to.
In the morgue, Finn joined Li and talked about how rare it was for someone as young and active as Hollis to die like this.
Li told Hollis goodbye and said she was sorry for what happened to him as she covered him up with a sheet.
After Li ignored texts from Jack Finnegan (Ted King), April (Jamison Belushi) the lab technician brought the toxicology report to her.
Finn was there as Li read the report, so he eventually took it and read it for himself.
Back at Forrester Creations, Steffy argued there was no way two deaths in two weeks was a coincidence, so Hope, Ridge and Brooke listened to her opinion on what happened.
After Steffy said she had her suspicions, she added that only one person came to mind – and her name was Sheila!
Once Poppy arrived in the morgue looking for answers – supposedly for Luna’s sake – Li said Hollis didn’t die of natural causes. Li added that Hollis was drugged and declared that she knew exactly who did it.
