The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 25, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) went to Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) place with him and kept interrupting as he tried to explain the whole Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) lookalike situation.
Deacon knew all this plastic surgery stuff sounded nuts, but he recapped more of Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) story and insisted “Sugar” aka Janet Webber (Kimberlin Brown) was released from prison a couple months ago.
Deacon added that Sugar was the one Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) took down that night, but he feared something terrible had happened to Sheila beforehand.
Finn was still struggling to believe any of this, but Deacon showed him a picture of Sugar as proof.
After Finn pointed out photos could be edited, he said he’d come to grips with the fact that he was never going to see Sheila again.
Finn pointed out that he’d let go of the destroyed connection and asked if Deacon was now telling him he might have a second chance with the woman who brought him into this world.
Deacon confirmed that’s exactly what he was telling Finn, but he didn’t know where Sheila was. That’s why Deacon wanted to team up and go find Sheila right now.
At the cliff house on Thursday’s B&B episode, Steffy ranted about how disrespectful and irresponsible Deacon was being with his irrational claims.
Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) thought Deacon was processing Sheila’s demise in his own way and suggested he’d have to accept reality eventually.
Until then, Steffy said Deacon needed to stay out of her husband’s head and stop dragging Finn into his spiral.
Steffy added that Deacon needed to get a grip since he was “in full-on crazy town,” but Hope offered a prediction about Deacon getting back to normal after he got all this out of his system.
Steffy fished to find out if Finn had said anything to Hope during their private chats, so Hope acknowledged that Finn’s feelings for Sheila were complex.
Although Steffy could never understand why Finn felt a connection to Sheila, she guessed his heart was just too big.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) welcomed Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) back from his trip to Paris, where he signed a new deal and had a visit with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) as well as Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).
After Ridge pointed out that Douglas was loving European life, he felt that this father-son bonding time had been good for Thomas and Douglas.
Ridge took some phone calls and quizzed Brooke about how RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) was doing, but she kept her promise to RJ by not spilling all the Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) drama.
Once Ridge said Douglas missed Hope, Brooke acknowledged that her daughter missed him too and was having a hard time without him.
Brooke pointed out that Hope also had to deal with Deacon’s refusal to believe Sheila was deceased.
Ridge slammed Deacon for being a bad father and wished he would stop all this since it wasn’t fair to Hope or Steffy.
