The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 1, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) gave Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) updates on Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) marriage proposal news.
Steffy immediately grew concerned about Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) putting Thomas in limbo by wearing the ring on her necklace.
Although Steffy agreed with Ridge about Thomas being worthy of love, she didn’t approve of his relationship with Hope.
Steffy insisted Thomas deserved to be with someone who could love him completely, but she doubted Hope could do that.
Finn had concerns of his own based on Thomas’ history, but Ridge felt like love was always a risk and thought Thomas deserved a chance to try to find happiness with Hope.
After their passionate encounter at the cabin, Hope told Thomas that she’d never felt this way before and admitted she couldn’t get enough of him.
Thomas’ spark brought out something wild and uninhibited in Hope, so she talked about how he ignited all her desires.
Once they enjoyed another round of passion, Thomas pointed out that Hope had never been with a man who cherished her and loved only her.
Thomas assured Hope that she could trust him with her heart just as he trusted Hope with his own heart.
After Thomas said Hope could have this for the rest of her life, he touched the ring and said she just had to put it on her finger.
Thomas urged Hope to say she’d be his wife, so she looked pensive before gazing at him rather dreamily.
At the beach house on Thursday’s B&B episode, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) kept taking jabs about RJ Forrester’s (Joshua Hoffman) expensive home before assuming that Ridge and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) were paying for it.
Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) piped up about hating to see this family rivalry, but Zende said there was no rivalry since he’d already made a name for himself in this business – unlike RJ who barely had any experience.
Zende didn’t think RJ realized how lucky he was, so that led to Zende reflecting on his time in the orphanage before he became part of the Forrester family.
Although Zende’s adoptive parents were part of the design business, they weren’t around to fight for him and treat him like a little prince.
Zende also talked about all the years he spent studying fashion design and pushed RJ to admit he’d be frustrated if the situation were flipped.
RJ said he could see Zende’s perspective and got why he didn’t want to be overlooked or underestimated.
However, RJ insisted there was no need to worry about that and vowed to look at the designs Zende brought over in the morning.
After RJ said he had plans with Luna tonight, he assured Zende that they were family and hoped they could be close again.
Zende simply told RJ to have a nice night and said bye to Luna as he left.
Once RJ was alone with Luna, he wondered if they’d broken the curse of them being interrupted. Luna said they weren’t cursed; they were popular!
After RJ and Luna agreed they wanted this to be the perfect night, they kissed and looked forward to taking the next sizzling step.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Luna and RJ seem poised to actually hit the sheets soon enough, so stay tuned for that major relationship development.
