The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 8, reveals that Eric Forrester (John McCook) joked about Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) needing to answer him before he had to sit down. Donna urged Eric to get up from bended knee and cried as she said of course she’d marry him.
Once Donna accepted the ring, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) rushed over with Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) to admire it.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) also gathered around Eric to congratulate him.
Soon after, Eric surprised Donna by admitting he wanted to seize the day and get married right now.
Donna struggled to wrap her head around that news, but she eventually decided she didn’t want to wait either and agreed to become Eric’s wife today.
“It’s a wedding! It’s a wedding!” Eric exclaimed before kissing Donna as everyone celebrated.
Katie took charge of everything by delegating wedding tasks, so she had the guys move the table out of the way and got Luna to volunteer as photographer.
After Brooke made Donna a bouquet from some of the nearby flowers, Zende played the wedding march on his phone. Luna snapped pics as Donna joined Eric and kicked things off.
Carter said that if anyone believed Eric and Donna shouldn’t be married, they should speak now or forever hold their peace.
Eric warned that no one had better say anything and got some laughs from all the guests.
Before they went any further, Eric wanted to make sure Donna was truly OK with this. Although Eric was willing to give Donna a more elaborate wedding, she felt this was perfect.
Donna and Eric didn’t have formal vows prepared, but they still had some sweet things to say about their love for each other.
After some speeches, Ridge handed over wedding bands for Eric and Donna to exchange. Carter led Donna and Eric through the rest of the ceremony as they put rings on each other’s fingers.
Once Carter officially pronounced them husband and wife, he presented Mr. and Mrs. Forrester to everyone. Eric and Donna sealed it with a kiss before the guests clapped and cheered.
At Il Giardino on Thursday’s B&B episode, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) said he wasn’t into all the cosmic nonsense, but he told Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) maybe forces were drawing them together.
Bill pointed out that if RJ ever let Luna down, he wouldn’t hesitate to step in. Although Luna didn’t have a dad in her life, Bill insisted she had him.
Poppy looked a little upset, so Bill hoped he didn’t say something wrong since he was just trying to be helpful.
Luna’s paternity was a sensitive subject, but Bill acknowledged that she was conceived around the same time he hooked up with Poppy. That led to Bill asking if he was Luna’s father and urging Poppy not to be nervous.
Bill thought maybe this was the reason they were drawn back together, but Poppy said it wasn’t and that the timing wasn’t close enough for it to be true.
Luna’s father was someone else, so this conversation was making Poppy uncomfortable.
Poppy assured Bill that there were no obligations when it came to Luna and said it had always been the two of them against the world – Nozawa power!
