The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 3, reveals that RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) complained to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) about barely even seeing Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) anymore and suggested his girlfriend wasn’t acting like herself.
Bill acknowledged that Luna had been confused since they got the new paternity test results, but he didn’t give RJ updates on the stolen kisses. RJ feared Luna might be headed for a breaking point and could tell Bill was scared for her, too.
At the hospital, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) told Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) that Luna seemingly wanted Bill for herself. After Finn said he thought Luna was responsible for Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) disappearance, he revealed that Luna kissed Bill.
Li was shocked over the news, but she didn’t think that meant Luna was behind the Il Giardino murders. However, Finn argued that Luna was the person who stood to benefit the most from those deaths along with the rigged DNA test and Poppy Nozawa’s (Romy Park) frame-up.
Plus, Steffy was last seen at Bill’s house and left her phone there, too. Li realized this was serious since Steffy would never leave town without her phone in case the kids needed her.
Talk turned to Luna and Poppy’s apartment, which Finn assumed was deserted. Li corrected Finn on that since Poppy and Luna still had some of their stuff there.
Although Luna told Li that she was with RJ the night of Tom Starr’s (Clint Howard) demise, Finn wasn’t sure they could trust anything Luna said at this point. Li gave Finn reassurance that he’d find Steffy – and Finn agreed that he indeed would.
At the apartment on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Luna was confident that if she was patient and played her cards right, she could seduce Bill and keep her spot in his life.
Steffy eventually shifted gears and tried to appeal to Luna’s softer side, which she clearly hoped was still in there somewhere. After Steffy played up what a tough childhood Luna had, she said she understood why Luna might want to hold onto Bill and that lifestyle.
However, Steffy argued that it couldn’t be like this and insisted that harming people wasn’t who Luna was. Steffy begged Luna to let her out before vowing to tell Bill and the police that Luna was just an innocent girl who lost her way.
Once Steffy brought up her children who needed her, she promised that she wouldn’t abandon Luna and added that Finn wouldn’t either. If Luna would just let her out, Steffy said they would deal with this together.
Luna seemed emotionally affected by Steffy’s words for a moment, but her cold exterior came back. After Luna made it clear that Steffy’s freedom wasn’t happening, she accused Steffy of using her like Poppy.
Luna snapped that Steffy would say anything to get out of there and took off – leaving Steffy alone to crumble into tears again.
At Forrester Creations, Finn told RJ that he found Steffy’s phone at Bill’s place, but he really needed to talk to him about Luna. After urging RJ to think back to the night of Tom’s murder, RJ remembered that Luna left work on her own.
RJ assumed Luna had an appointment or something and wondered why Finn was asking about this. Finn suggested that Luna had locked-up Poppy exactly where she wanted her.
Once Finn said he believed Luna was responsible for Tom and Paul “Hollis” Hollister’s (Hollis W. Chambers) murders, he added that he thought Luna was behind Steffy’s disappearance.
RJ was floored over Finn’s accusations, but Finn insisted that Steffy might be in danger – and the only person who could lead him to his wife was Luna.
Later, Luna was taken aback to find Finn in the design office and asked what he was doing there. Finn said he was waiting for Luna and prepared to kick off a grilling session.
