The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Wednesday, January 24, reveals that Eric Forrester (John McCook) accepted the pineapple juice Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) offered him along with the newspaper Katie Logan (Heather Tom) handed over.
Although Eric acted like there was no need to fuss over him, he genuinely appreciated how Donna and Katie had fought for him while he was seriously ill. Since Donna never gave up, Eric told her that she was his rock.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) joined the love fest, so they were glad to see Eric in good spirits.
Eric told Donna that he was the luckiest man alive and kissed her, so Katie and Brooke cried over the sweet moment.
Ridge eventually shared a sweet moment of his own with Eric and said it was amazing to have him back. Eric was more than just Ridge’s dad; he was Ridge’s best friend.
Ridge said he loved Eric so much and thought he was going to lose him, but Eric insisted Ridge wasn’t going to lose him for a long time.
As Ridge and Eric expressed their love, they held hands before Eric jokingly asked for a martini.
At the beach house on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was disappointed as he talked to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) about Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) possibly leaving Los Angeles.
Liam also mentioned that Bill was tackling a new adventure of his own now that he had reconnected with Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park).
Bill admitted that he brought Poppy to the beach house after their second date, but their plans for passion got cut short.
However, Bill confirmed he was fascinated by Poppy and said Liam would understand once he met her. Liam was convinced it was fate that brought Poppy and Bill back together 20 years after their amazing night.
Bill acknowledged that some type of otherworldly pull seemed to be in play, so Liam asked where Bill and Poppy went from here.
After Bill joked about a quickie wedding at an Elvis chapel, he talked about feeling like he already knew everything there was to know about Poppy.
As far as Bill was concerned, there was nothing Poppy could tell him that would change things between them.
At Forrester Creations, Poppy once again interrupted a make-out session between RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada).
While they were discussing Poppy dating Bill Spencer, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) walked in and flipped out after overhearing the news.
RJ and Luna urged Li to just leave, but she refused and wanted to make something very clear to Poppy. After Poppy requested some time alone with Li, Luna and RJ agreed to leave the design office.
That gave Li a chance to rip into Poppy for being such a shameless person and for having no shred of decency.
Li assumed Bill was Poppy’s new sugar daddy, but Poppy insisted she had a history with Bill and that they never forgot their special night together.
Once Li realized Poppy slept with Bill years ago, she ranted even harder and refused to let Poppy date Kelly Spencer’s (Sophia Paras McKinlay) grandfather.
Li griped about Poppy’s debauchery and said it was no wonder Luna didn’t know who her father was.
In the main office, Luna complained to RJ about Li’s behavior and apologized for all the family drama, but RJ understood since the Forresters had always had drama of their own.
Luna didn’t think it was fair for Li to call Poppy a gold-digger when her mom had always made her own way. Poppy shouldn’t have to justify her involvement with Bill, so that upset Luna, too.
Nevertheless, Luna was pleased over how crazy it would make Li when she realized how close Poppy was to Bill and when she discovered their history.
