The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, January 31, reveals that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) assured Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) that there would never be secrets between them ever again. Thomas had to believe that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was wrong and that Hope wouldn’t break his heart.
Hope acknowledged that what Thomas told her about the night of Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) crash was hard to hear, but she knew he was a man of action and had proven the changes he’d made.
After Hope called Thomas a talented designer, amazing father and a loyal man, she admitted she felt safe with him – like she could give him her heart.
Thomas smiled as Hope said she believed in him and thanked her for seeing the man he was now.
Once Thomas vowed to cherish Hope for the rest of his life, he talked about the ring being a symbol of his eternal love.
Thomas was so excited for that ring to be on Hope’s finger and for her to become his wife.
Hope confessed that she still had doubts, but they were just about the timing – not about Thomas or their relationship.
In the meantime, Hope said she’d keep wearing that ring by her heart and added that maybe one day she would be ready for a bigger commitment.
After Hope admitted she wanted Thomas, she started stripping down and helped Thomas out of his shirt as well. As Hope got in Thomas’ lap, they kissed passionately and prepared to make love.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) talked to Brooke about the big news since they were both in the loop on Thomas’ proposal to Hope.
Brooke relayed her concerns, but Ridge acted like this proposal could be a good thing for Hope and Thomas.
In the design office, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) wanted to distract Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) from all the paternity drama, so she agreed a night of privacy at his new place was exactly what they needed.
Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) interrupted and found out about RJ’s new beach house, so he awkwardly attempted to give him a high five over the unbelievable score.
When Charlie realized Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) was looking for RJ later, he offered updates on RJ being at his swanky new beach pad.
Zende commented on RJ renting a Malibu home for a fortune at a ripe young age, so he suggested RJ really was “the anointed one.”
After Zende left on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Ridge and Brooke talked about his obvious resentment, but they were hopeful about him being able to work through his issues with RJ.
At the beach house, Luna thought they were finally alone and asked RJ if he had a mint – just to be on the safe side when it came to her breath.
RJ handed over one before Luna admitted she’d never felt more ready to take the next step.
Luna had been holding out for the right person and indeed felt RJ was the one she’d been waiting for. Unfortunately, Zende knocked on the door and forced RJ to pump the brakes on Luna.
Since Zende had seen RJ’s car out front, he called out to him and announced himself. RJ let Zende in, so Zende greeted Luna and said he hoped he wasn’t interrupting them.
Once Zende mentioned the new designs that he wanted to get to RJ right away, RJ said he was busy right now and would look at them later. RJ also wondered how Zende found out he was living there, so Zende said Charlie filled him in.
After Zende suggested RJ was really living large, RJ pointed out Zende could live like this if he wanted to.
Zende didn’t know about that since it might be out of his budget, but he added that wasn’t the case for the golden child of Ridge and Brooke.
