The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) has been trying to recruit John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) in his mission to take down Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and stop him from causing more destruction.
Although Xander presented a convincing argument, Finn may not be the best person for him to team up with.
It’s true that Finn wants to protect Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), but will he do it at the expense of his own marriage?
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is becoming increasingly agitated over Finn disregarding her wishes. No matter how many times Steffy tells Finn to let this go, he refuses to listen and keeps dredging it all up again.
Steffy doesn’t like the fact that Finn’s been putting so much faith in Xander’s side of the crash story, so B&B fans know that’s causing some issues.
During the week of January 15-19, Steffy will push Finn to finally put an end to all this Xander and Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) talk. If Finn doesn’t start listening soon, his relationship could be at risk.
That could mean Finn will eventually back off since his marriage to Steffy has to come first. Finn may have to put all his concerns aside and just concentrate on preserving the happiness of his family.
If Xander wants to team up with someone who doesn’t trust Thomas and has strong reasons to stand against his relationship with Hope, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) might be a better scheming partner.
Of course, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is another option, but there’s a good chance Xander is already working with him based on Liam’s reaction to Xander’s name coming up again.
The problem is Hope certainly isn’t going to listen to Liam! Brooke, on the other hand, might have a better chance of getting through to Hope as her mother.
Now that Hope’s heard Thomas’ details surrounding the crash story, she’ll be uneasy enough to spill some concerns to Brooke about Thomas’ history.
That doesn’t mean Hope will reveal everything Thomas shared with her, but she’ll definitely relay some worries and make Brooke even more convinced “Thope” needs to end.
When Brooke inevitably finds out the marriage proposal news, she may flip out and become extra motivated to stop Hope’s romance with him before a marriage happens.
Xander could track Brooke down at some point and insist her daughter’s in grave danger, so she might vow to help him protect Hope no matter the cost.
That could cause all kinds of hostility in Brooke and Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) relationship, so there’d be some great ripple effects and erupting drama.
Brooke would also stir up conflict with Hope, Thomas and Steffy, so some interesting complications could result from getting tangled up in Xander’s payback plot.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Xander may prove relentless when it comes to going after Thomas, so stay tuned for updates on whether Brooke will contribute to the mayhem.
