The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the show has been offering up multiple suspects, but what if someone surprising is to blame what happened to Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers)? Could the real culprit be someone who hasn’t fallen under suspicion yet?
The “Sugar” aka Janet Webber (Kimberlin Brown) story brought some big twists, so there’s no reason to think this story will be any different.
In fact, “Sugar” might still be influencing things from beyond the grave!
Sugar faced a fatal showdown with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and was ultimately cremated, but Carl Ferret (Sean Whalen) seemed rather shady and took a phone call while Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) was at the crematorium.
What if Carl was talking to Sugar’s accomplice – and what if that accomplice was Sheila Sharpe’s (Kimberlin Brown) daughter, Diana Carter?
It’s within the realm of possibility since Sugar helped Sheila run off with Diana when she was a baby.
Now Diana is all grown up and could easily resent Sheila for acting like John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is her only child who matters.
What if Diana joined forces with Sugar for revenge and is still carrying out that revenge plot now?
That brings us to Tom, who pointed Deacon and Finn in the direction of the warehouse.
Tom saved Sheila’s life, which would’ve been exactly what Diana didn’t want!
After Sugar’s demise, perhaps Diana just wanted to let Sheila rot in that warehouse until she took her last breath.
What if Diana made Tom pay for Sheila’s rescue?
Tom had also been doing research on Sheila’s past, so there’s a chance he found out about Diana and could’ve blown things if he made too many connections. Maybe silencing Tom played a factor as well.
If Tom had something in his bag that pointed to Diana’s involvement with Sugar and Hollis discovered it, then that could’ve been a reason for Diana to go after Hollis, too.
Plus, wouldn’t Diana be getting her revenge in a different way by setting Sheila up?
After all, that was basically Sugar’s original plan – for Sheila to land in prison and have Finn turn against her.
If vengeful Diana is running the show now, she would love the idea of Sheila being incarcerated for crimes she didn’t commit while Finn washes his hands of her completely.
All this stuff surrounding Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) paternity might be a way to distract B&B fans.
It could be building to some shocking Diana-related news down the road.
Although characters like Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), Jack Finnegan (Ted King) and Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) are keeping secrets, Diana could still be revealed as the real killer and the ultimate twist of this story.
