The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) will get a major shock when he talks to Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) about Sugar, the woman who was tricked into having plastic surgery to look just like Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
That obviously answers the question of who Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) took down at the cliff house.
Deacon has been perplexed since he knows he saw Sheila’s face just before the cremation, but he also saw 10 toes – which doesn’t add up since Sheila had nine.
Lauren will help Deacon start working out this mystery once he realizes Sugar must’ve been the woman under that sheet.
However, we should perhaps consider another story twist now that Sugar’s name is coming up.
Out of all the horrible things Sheila has done, the worst was when she fired at Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) in the alley that night. Sheila left Finn and Steffy to bleed out, so she really crossed the line!
If B&B could undo all that, it’d go a long way toward redeeming Sheila – at least enough for Finn to decide he wants his birth mom in his life.
What if Sugar is the one who actually shot Steffy and Finn? Could Sheila be innocent?
Of course, that obviously wasn’t the plan back when the original storyline was filmed, but rewrites happen all the time on soaps.
Now that there’s a deceased Sheila doppelganger in the picture, maybe the show could make some adjustments.
It’d take some work to explain it, but it might be worth the effort if Sheila is no longer responsible for the worst of her crimes.
One explanation might be if Sugar pulled the trigger on Finn and Steffy before hypnotizing Sheila into believing she pulled it instead.
Sheila was quite distraught in the aftermath and ultimately made excuses about it being an accident that she shot her own son.
Perhaps Sheila was just brainwashed into believing she did what Sugar’s actually to blame for.
What if Sugar orchestrated the whole thing as a way to send Sheila to prison?
Sugar’s latest plot at the cliff house might’ve been her second attempt to get rid of Steffy and have Sheila go down for it.
Regardless, Sugar looks identical to Sheila, so the show has a chance to rewrite things and pin the alley drama on Sugar instead if that’s the route they want to take.
