The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) may have a deeper agenda when it comes to standing against Poppy Nozawa’s (Romy Park) relationship with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
B&B fans know Li won’t stop ranting about how Poppy is an opportunistic gold digger, so she doesn’t want Poppy latching onto Kelly Spencer’s (Sophia Paras McKinlay) grandfather.
However, there’s a chance that Li’s own history with Bill may be coming into play here.
In the June 4 episode, Li brought up the fact that she’d been in Bill’s mansion before and let him know it was good to see him again.
That led to Li’s story about how Bill rescued her after Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) chased her off the road and caused her horrifying ordeal.
Bill found Li traumatized with memory loss in an alley, so he made sure she got the medical attention she needed.
It felt like Li was gloating as she told Poppy and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) about all that, so it was seemingly her way of hyping up her own bond with Bill.
There was a time when it looked like the show was going to pair up Bill and Li, but it that romantic plan apparently got scrapped for whatever reason.
That said, it’s not too late to bring it back around!
The timing has never been better now that Poppy’s falling hard and really wanting to get serious about a future with Bill.
After the way Li talked so admirably about Bill being a remarkable man, you could certainly argue that she still feels something for him.
Li also isn’t shy about mentioning how handsome Bill is, so maybe she’s got a crush of her own here.
Since Li is so determined to split up Poppy and Bill, could she end up plotting to steal her sister’s man?
It’d be interesting to see Li try to swoop in and take Bill for herself at some point.
Bill is no stranger to bouncing back and forth between sisters.
Just ask Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) since they’ve been part of a Bill love triangle on more than one occasion!
