The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Eric Forrester (John McCook) pulled off a double surprise for Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) when he offered up an engagement ring and got her to agree to their immediate nuptials.
Donna adores her honey bear, so she gladly exchanged vows and wedding bands with Eric at his recovery celebration.
Now that Eric and Donna are newlyweds, they have a chance to live happily ever after. However, B&B fans know problems are often just around the corner!
Donna stood by Eric when he was sick, so he trusts her and has total faith in the love they share.
Unfortunately, things could change in their relationship over time, so bad news could force some updates to Eric and Donna’s next chapter.
There might be some issues down the line that cause Eric and Donna’s marriage to fall apart. Whether that’s due to another woman or some other deal-breaker, Donna and Eric could end up splitting.
If Eric and Donna divorce down the road, there could be major trouble. Donna clearly didn’t sign a prenup since that wedding at the Forrester mansion happened so fast.
It’s clear that Donna loves Eric and wants a future with him at this point, but prenups offer protection for when a relationship goes wrong. Eric doesn’t have that protection, so will it come back to bite him?
It’d be interesting if Eric cheated on Donna with someone else or committed some other type of betrayal. If Donna and Eric don’t divorce amicably, the lack of a prenup could present some hurdles.
Donna could go after a good chunk of Eric’s fortune along with Forrester Creations shares if she feels vengeful enough.
Eric might pay the price for the blunder of not having a prenuptial agreement drawn up – or a postnuptial agreement for that matter!
It’s possible Eric will get Donna to sign a post-nup at some point now that they’ve tied the knot, but it’s doubtful.
Instead, B&B writers may leave the door open for some drama to happen sooner or later. Donna might take Eric for everything he’s got and push for some payback.
