The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the show really needs to pick a lane and stick with it when it comes to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Finn once hated Sheila Sharpe’s (Kimberlin Brown) guts for all the turmoil she caused, but he was an emotional wreck when he thought she died.
Of course, Finn connected with Sheila after he helped Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) find her in that warehouse.
B&B fans will recall that Finn even called Sheila a hero, but now he’s back to doubting Sheila’s changed woman act.
Finn wasn’t quite as accusatory as Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) on the July 17 episode, but he was still awfully cold!
The switch has flipped again for Finn, who urged Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) to take Sheila away.
Considering Finn’s pattern, it’s safe to say this won’t be the last time he changes his opinion of Sheila.
Finn is basically pointing the finger at Sheila over Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Paul “Hollis” Hollister’s (Hollis W. Chambers) overdoses, but he’s going to feel guilty when he’s wrong!
This storyline feels like the perfect setup for Sheila to ultimately be proven innocent.
Once Sheila’s name is cleared, Steffy may act like it’s Sheila’s own fault people think the worst of her and show no remorse.
Finn, on the other hand, is surely going to feel terrible over how he treated his birth mother.
You can bet Finn will apologize and hope Sheila can forgive him for thinking she wiped her Il Giardino coworkers out permanently.
At the very least, Sheila will probably get an emotional hug out of all this.
Finn’s old connection to Sheila may creep back in and leave him wanting a real bond with his bio mom.
Steffy has forbidden Finn from having any contact with Sheila, but will there come a point when he pushes back on that?
Will Finn have a change of heart once he feels guilty for doubting the new-and-improved Sheila?
If Finn decides to accept Sheila and eventually goes against Steffy’s orders, our predictions hint that’ll mean disastrous news for his marriage!
