The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the news of Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) marriage proposal is about to spread like wildfire. During the week of January 29-February 2, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will put the puzzle pieces together and realize Thomas has popped the question, so that’ll kick off some drama.
After Thomas convinces Ridge that this marriage could be a good thing for him, Ridge will tell Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) what he’s figured out and defend his son’s actions.
Of course, Brooke will think this marriage proposal is a huge mistake – and she’s never shy about speaking her mind!
B&B fans know Brooke was hoping Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) would come to her senses regarding Thomas – not vow her way into a forever future with him.
When Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) gets updates on Thomas proposing marriage to Hope, she’ll be shocked that things have progressed that far.
Once Steffy flips out and tells John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) what’s going on, they’ll agree Thomas and Hope’s wedding is a terrible idea.
It looks like Finn and Steffy may have a conversation with Brooke soon after, so they’ll reveal that they’re on the same page with her about how Hope and Thomas’ nuptials shouldn’t happen.
Of course, Hope hasn’t accepted Thomas’ proposal yet, but it may not be long until she agrees to wear Thomas’ ring on her finger. That could send Steffy, Finn and especially Brooke into panic mode.
It’s easy to imagine all this leading to a bit of an intervention. Hope might walk in the office one day and find that Brooke, Finn and Steffy are all waiting for her.
Perhaps Hope will get ambushed by the trio and receive plenty of warnings about how this wedding to Thomas absolutely cannot happen.
However, Hope is in her rebellious phase these days, so an intervention could backfire and actually make her more inclined to go all in with Thomas.
It’s clear that Hope wants to be her own woman and think for herself, so what the naysayers say about this marriage won’t matter to her.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that Hope and Thomas may indeed start planning their nuptials soon, but Xander Avant’s (Adain Bradley) upcoming moves could cause another round of trouble.
