The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) still has unanswered questions when it comes to her family history. Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) insisted Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) wasn’t Luna’s biological father and shut down the idea that she could be lying.
Of course, plenty of people have lied and claimed they were telling the truth on B&B over the years. It’s still possible that Bill is Luna’s bio dad if Poppy simply doubled down on her dishonesty.
However, Poppy has seen for herself that Bill is a good guy after all these years. When faced with Luna’s desperate plea for answers, why wouldn’t Poppy just confirm Bill was her father if he actually was?
Based on Poppy’s emotional reaction, it appears she’s genuinely ashamed and fearful about the secret she’s keeping.
It makes it seem like Poppy is terrified of the truth coming out – and that doesn’t make sense if Bill is Luna’s true papa!
The most logical explanation is that Luna’s real father is someone else, so maybe it’s time to revisit a previous theory we’ve discussed at CDL.
When Luna’s father mystery first became part of the story, it led to speculation that Jack Finnegan (Ted King) could be an option.
After all, Jack cheated on Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and lied to her about John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) parentage by acting like it was a random adoption.
It took decades for Li to find out about the affair and the fact that Finn was actually Jack’s biological son.
In other words, Jack knows how to keep a secret, so what if he’s keeping another huge one with Li’s sister?
Li already hates Poppy and judges her for sleeping around, so can you imagine how much worse it’d be if Li found out Jack fathered Poppy’s child?
That’s especially true since Li already admitted she resents Poppy for being able to get pregnant so easily.
If Poppy ever has any hope of repairing her damaged relationship with Li, she may realize this secret can never be exposed.
Poppy might also fear this could taint her relationship with Luna and make her view her mother differently.
Luna would surely be appalled over Poppy helping Jack cheat on Li – and it would turn Luna’s world upside down to find out Finn is her half-brother, not her cousin.
It’s understandable that Poppy would want to avoid all that drama, so is that why she’s acting like this now?
Maybe Jack will make an exciting return at some point for a secret meeting with Poppy. There could be a big reveal if Jack speaks with Poppy behind closed doors.
Could Jack be in on the bio dad cover-up or is Poppy keeping the Luna daughter news from him, too?
