The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the show has given fans a layered whodunit storyline with plenty of puzzle pieces. B&B is forcing viewers to ask questions – like who visited Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) shortly before his demise?
In the July 12 episode, Hollis reacted to someone showing up at Il Giardino right after the power went out.
At first, Hollis was taken aback and asked what this person was doing there, but he quickly shifted gears and decided he was glad about the arrival.
Hollis still had Tom Starr’s (Clint Howard) backpack at that point, so he suggested he really needed to talk to someone about this.
Based on Hollis’ friendly reaction to someone he recognized, that narrows down the list of people it could possibly be.
Hollis had already shown Sheila the backpack, so it wasn’t her.
Since Hollis’ seemingly found Tom’s letters to Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) about Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) paternity, that’s important to remember, too.
Hollis wouldn’t have phrased things that way to Poppy and Luna since they’re a huge part of the shocker he uncovered.
There’s a good chance Hollis’ mystery visitor was Jack Finnegan (Ted King) since the show’s been playing up how he befriended the bartender.
Everything about that interaction makes sense if Jack was the one who popped up that night.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Jack is to blame for the drugging!
Hollis was already halfway to the grave by then since he’d been drinking his presumably drugged coconut water before this visitor ever arrived.
What if Jack showed up thinking Il Giardino was still open and then got some shocking updates?
Hollis might’ve shown Jack the letters that Poppy returned to Tom and pointed out that Tom claimed to be Luna’s father.
Jack started texting Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) like crazy once the news about Hollis’ fatal outcome started to spread.
What if Jack was worried Li might’ve done something to make sure Luna’s real paternity stayed buried?
Whether Li’s responsible or not, Jack could certainly have concerns.
That’s especially true if they both know Jack is Luna’s bio dad and have been in cahoots to cover it up!
Bottom line, the mystery visitor probably wasn’t the same person who drugged Hollis.
Jack may be the one who interacted with Hollis that night, but who actually wiped Hollis off the map?
