The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Kimberlin Brown is exiting the role of Sheila Carter thanks to a shocking moment at the end of the February 26 episode. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) stabbed Sheila in the chest, so viewers were stunned as Sheila fell to the floor and ultimately took her last breath.
Brown opened up about her departure from the show in a new interview with TV Insider, so she offered confirmation on Sheila getting killed off.
Although Brown would rather be sticking around, she admitted she was glad Steffy was the one behind Sheila’s grim fate.
“I guess if anyone were going to take Sheila down, I’m happy it’s Steffy. I just wish that no one was taking Sheila down,” Brown said.
However, Kimberlin Brown also acknowledged that she “had a good run” since she’s played Sheila on and off for over 35 years.
Not many people can say they’ve played a role for that long, so Brown considers herself blessed.
Brown also talked about filming Sheila’s demise, which required spending hours on that concrete floor.
That actually led to a minor injury for Brown since she said she suffered some bruising that week!
Brown offered a little story hint since she revealed that the paramedics would pronounce Sheila’s time of death.
That required Brown to keep her eyes closed and hold her breath so that she appeared to be deceased like her character.
Since it took a while to film Sheila’s dramatic exit, it gave Kimberlin Brown a chance to mull over the future and consider what’s next for her career.
Of course, Sheila has come back from the dead before, so maybe that’s something to think about.
It’s always possible B&B could invent some crazy explanation – like a lookalike or someone posing in a Sheila mask getting stabbed instead – to undo this outcome down the road.
For now, it looks like this death is the real deal since Brown seems genuinely bummed over Sheila’s run coming to an end.
That said, Sheila’s final airdate may not be happening just yet since Steffy’s going to suffer some pretty severe trauma after all this.
Steffy could easily be haunted by Sheila in her own mind, so that might give Brown a chance to play in the soap sandbox a bit more.
