The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) brought up how weird it was for Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) to “randomly” show up in town, but what if it wasn’t so random?
It’s true that soapy coincidences happen frequently on B&B, but maybe some plotting was involved this time around.
There may be a sneaky motive behind Xander’s Los Angeles comeback, so let’s take a closer look at the situation.
Now that Xander is back in the picture, he’s stirring up issues for two relationships.
For starters, Steffy doesn’t approve of the way John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is letting Xander get inside his head with serious accusations against Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Finn is also trying to cause problems for Thomas and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), so that’s another couple that Xander’s return is affecting.
Let’s think for a moment about who stands to benefit from these two couples falling apart. Who would want Hope and Thomas to split while Finn and Steffy’s relationship ends up strained as well?
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) would love the chance to reunite with Steffy, but he also doesn’t want Hope with Thomas.
Xander’s return to town could work out well for Liam, so we have to wonder if maybe he planned it!
The show hasn’t revealed Xander’s reason for moving back to LA, so maybe Liam arranged a job for him and essentially summoned him back to the canvas.
Liam might’ve suggested Finn as a new doctor too and conveniently left out the part about him being married to Steffy.
In that case, Xander’s surprise over Finn and Steffy’s wedding pic still could’ve been genuine.
Perhaps Xander didn’t realize he was being used as a pawn in Liam’s game.
Then again, it’s possible that was all an act on Xander’s part. Xander might be working with Liam, who perhaps convinced him to come back to LA and help get Hope out of Thomas’ clutches.
It’s easy to imagine a big reveal where Xander meets with Liam to tell him how his plan’s going.
Xander might feel like he owes Liam for his part in caving to Thomas’ threats and concealing Beth Spencer’s (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) survival.
Whether Xander’s acting on his own or on behalf of Liam, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say some stunning moments are still to come in this storyline.
