The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) could definitely use a romantic reboot. After bouncing between Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for so many years, Liam really needs to move on and find someone new to fall for.
Now that Steffy’s found loyalty and happiness with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), she has no interest in blowing that up for waffling Liam.
Unlike her ex-husband, Steffy doesn’t want to rekindle what she shared with Liam in the past.
As for Liam and Hope, they can barely handle being in the same room at this point.
It would take some major work to undo all the damage that’s been done to Hope and Liam as a pairing – particularly after Hope’s experienced Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) total devotion.
Of course, this is B&B we’re talking about, so both Steffy and Hope could still be used as future love interest options for Liam. There’s always the possibility of either romance coming back around.
In the meantime, could a shocking new woman be on the horizon for Liam? It’d be nice if Liam could fall for someone besides Steffy and Hope for a change, so let’s consider a potential new story option.
Kate Schettler recently debuted as Diana the realtor, but what if she’s actually Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) daughter, Diana Carter?
No one can rule out that big reveal happening somewhere down the line.
If so, perhaps Diana could make a good love interest for Liam, especially considering she already knows and works closely with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Diana might seduce Liam and make him believe she’s nothing like her crazy mother, but Hope and Steffy could both be wary of her.
That would give Hope a little taste of what it’s been like in Liam’s shoes since he’s spent so much time ranting about how Thomas can’t be trusted.
Hope might struggle to convince Liam that Diana’s a troublemaker – and Steffy could face the same challenge.
Naturally, Diana could break Liam’s heart in the end, especially if this involves Sheila’s plot to push Steffy back in her former hubby’s direction.
Whether that plan works or not, it’s easy to imagine Sheila and Diana teaming up for it!
However, if B&B doesn’t end up taking the Diana Carter route, Liam could still get a problematic new girlfriend.
It’d be great to see Liam with someone else for a change – particularly if that someone leads to fresh drama and huge issues in his life.
