The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Monday, January 29, reveal that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will put some clues together and make a shocking realization. It looks like Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) may spill a few too many hints and give Ridge just enough info to figure out that he popped the question.
One way or another, Ridge will indeed put it together that Thomas proposed marriage to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), so he may worry about his son pushing too hard or rushing this romance.
However, Thomas may assure Ridge that he’s being patient and just waiting on the day Hope puts his engagement ring on her finger.
Perhaps Thomas will insist he’s willing to wait as long as it takes and try to convince Ridge that he’s not obsessing again.
Once Thomas explains his perspective, Ridge may choose to believe his son has a healthier approach to love and promise to just butt out.
Of course, Ridge will still have to talk to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) about this marriage proposal news, so Brooke will inevitably express alarm over the idea of such a huge step.
Brooke would much rather see Hope cut ties with Thomas romantically, but Hope has made it clear that her mom needs to back off.
Other B&B spoilers say Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) will once again push Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) for the truth.
Poppy got teary as Luna demanded to know if Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was her father, so Luna will get an emotional answer on Monday’s episode.
Will Poppy admit that Bill is Luna’s bio dad or insist that her daughter got it wrong instead? There are sure to be follow-up questions no matter what Poppy’s response is.
If Poppy knows Luna’s bio dad is someone else – perhaps a far worse option – she could easily try to pass Bill off as the real thing since Luna’s come to this conclusion.
Then again, maybe Bill really is Luna’s father and Poppy’s just been scared to come clean after keeping the secret for so many years.
It’s even possible Poppy will insist Luna should drop this for good and fail to elaborate at all.
Regardless, Luna will be suspicious of how much Poppy has hidden from her and will wonder what she’s still hiding now!
