The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the show’s been dropping more and more hints about Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) secret survival. It probably won’t be long until Sheila makes her dramatic on-screen return and shakes things up.
John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has been trying to cope with Sheila’s demise, but he’s admitted it doesn’t feel real that she’s gone.
Perhaps that’s because Sheila is actually still alive and on the verge of her big comeback.
After all, B&B is certainly still airing plenty of Kimberlin Brown thanks to the dreams and hallucinations that Finn is now having.
Finn can’t shake this feeling of Sheila reaching out to him for help, so he’s tormented over being unable to save her.
If that’s a clue about the real Sheila being in captivity following her lookalike’s grim fate, that could open the door to some major story twists.
Of course, it’s possible Finn will be the one to find hostage Sheila and save the day, but we can think of another intriguing option.
What if Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) somehow puts the puzzle pieces together and follows the Sheila trail?
Could Steffy find Sheila being held captive somewhere?
That could bring quite a dilemma for Steffy since releasing Sheila would mean allowing her back into all their lives.
The one good thing about Sheila’s fatal ordeal has been the fact that the threat’s seemingly gone forever. That won’t be the case anymore if Steffy potentially locates Sheila and sets her free.
However, Steffy also knows how hard all this has been on Finn. For the sake of Finn’s sanity and the sake of her marriage, Steffy might have no choice but to rescue Sheila.
It’d be interesting to have Sheila’s worst enemy become the reason she gets out of a potential hostage situation.
Perhaps it could also pave the way for Sheila and Steffy to reach some form of a truce.
Whatever the case, it feels like there may be a reason why Finn keeps thinking of Sheila calling out for help.
The real Sheila could indeed need a hero if she’s stuck somewhere against her will.
Will Steffy become that hero for Sheila despite their horrible history and give Finn some good news? Could Steffy change everything by granting an alive Sheila her freedom?
