The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) keeps insisting she doesn’t need a man, but she’s certainly treating Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) like an emotional crutch she can’t live without.
Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) has every right to be unsettled by the close moments she witnessed at the cliff house. Any woman who spied her husband with his ex-wife in his lap would have reasons to be concerned!
However, Brooke got an explanation and is willing to move past all the aligned chakra drama. Taylor had a major breakthrough and is taking steps toward healing, so Brooke may be hoping she’ll lean on Ridge less now.
Of course, that’s wishful thinking since Ridge and Taylor have become so inseparable these days. Taylor’s health ordeal has pulled Ridge even closer, so he’s not going to suddenly back off.
With that in mind, Brooke might start thinking of ways she can create some distance between Ridge and Taylor. Although Brooke understands the exes will always be linked, she’ll still want to limit Taylor’s contact with Ridge as much as she can.
Since Taylor’s “I don’t need a man” mantra has been taking center stage, maybe Brooke will try to prove her wrong. Brooke might think Taylor indeed needs another man to distract her and keep her from spending all her time with Ridge.
It’s easy to imagine Brooke taking matters into her own hands and setting Taylor up on a blind date. Brooke might ambush Taylor with some handsome guy at Il Giardino and hope she can create some flying sparks.
With Taylor’s health hopefully on the upswing now, Brooke might think it’s time for her romantic rival to put herself back on the market. Perhaps Brooke will play matchmaker with disastrous or at least comical results.
Whatever the case, Ridge may not like it if Brooke tries to push Taylor down a new romantic road. It could lead to Ridge calling Brooke out for her insecurity and pushing her stop pressuring Taylor to move on.
