The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Thursday, January 11, reveal that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will push Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to step outside her comfort zone and ask the hard questions.
Since Finn is more convinced than ever that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) could be responsible for Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) demise, he just urged Steffy to ask her brother for the truth about that night.
Steffy will probably offer excuses to avoid the topic on Thursday’s B&B episode.
It’s clear that Steffy’s worried about triggering Thomas and doesn’t want to risk him backsliding.
Even so, Finn may argue that it’s important to find out what really happened when Emma’s car ran off the road.
Since Finn doesn’t believe Thomas has been completely honest with Steffy, he’ll hope that maybe she can get a full picture if she goes to him and pressures him to come clean.
At some point, Steffy will indeed seek out Thomas so that she can do what Finn’s pressuring her to do. That’ll launch a difficult conversation and will bring Thomas’ version of events before the week’s over.
In the meantime, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) will catch up with Finn and perhaps sense that there are new issues in his relationship with Steffy.
Whether Finn confides what’s going on or not, Li may warn Finn not to do anything to jeopardize his marriage.
Elsewhere, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will make a stunning discovery. It turns out Liam will find out about Thomas popping the question, so it sounds like he’ll share scenes with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and spot the engagement ring on her necklace.
Of course, Liam will hope he’s wrong about what he’s seeing, but Hope should confirm that Thomas indeed asked her to marry him.
Since Hope couldn’t give Thomas the “yes” he wanted just yet, she agreed to wear the ring around her neck and keep it close to her heart.
Hope might point out that Thomas is willing to wait, but Liam may think the fact that Thomas even proposed is putting pressure on Hope.
This could be another sign that Thomas is obsessed again as far as Liam’s concerned.
Liam may acknowledge that it’s really none of his business anymore and recall how Hope already pushed him to back off.
At the same time, Liam may feel obligated to warn Hope that she’d headed down a dangerous road.
From Liam’s perspective, it’ll seem like Hope’s letting Thomas pull her deeper and deeper into a pit of trouble.
