In a new interview with SOD, Heather Tom was asked about the possibility of Katie and Bill reconnecting at a new stage of their lives.
Now that an older Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) is in the picture, Bill and Katie’s reunion could certainly shake things up.
Tom acknowledged that the relationship would be different now for multiple reasons.
Katie and Bill have been through a ton of challenges – and there’s the potential for even more if Will turns out to be a troublemaker who takes after “Dollar Bill.”
“I think I’d like to see it be different in that now that they’ve been through so much and have their son back home — and who knows what kind of trouble he’s going to get into? Hopefully a lot!” Tom said with a laugh.
The B&B star also questioned whether Bill and Katie would agree with how Will lives his life moving forward.
Will has proven to be a mama’s boy so far, but that could change as he settles back in Los Angeles and spends more time with Bill.
“Is he going to be a kid that takes after Bill’s darker instincts? Does he have that inside him? I think that dynamic could be interesting to explore,” Tom said.
Our predictions hint that Will could indeed stir up trouble as most soap characters in his age range tend to do.
Will’s love life will inevitably get messy and drag his parents into some new drama, so there’ll be some fun places to go with Will, Katie and Bill’s family story.
