The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Wednesday, January 3, reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will insist Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) has it all wrong. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) just offered updates on Xander’s visit and the disturbing accusation he made against Thomas regarding Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) demise.
However, Steffy will defend her brother and argue that Thomas would never go as far as intentionally wiping Emma off the map.
After Steffy insists the car crash was an accident, she’ll warn Finn not to buy into Xander’s disgruntled narrative.
Steffy will get pretty agitated during this conversation, especially since Finn won’t hide his concerns about Thomas.
Although Finn tried to dismiss Xander’s claims at first, part of him is worried about Thomas’ dangerous side firing back up.
Finn knows Thomas is capable of terrible things based on his history, but Steffy will act like there’s a difference between keeping secrets and plotting to get rid of someone permanently.
Steffy will rush to Thomas’ defense regarding Emma’s fate and assure Finn that her brother has truly turned his life around, but Finn won’t be so sure about that.
Other B&B spoilers say Thomas will have to process Hope’s marriage proposal response.
Although Thomas assured Hope that he could wait for her, he may still be disappointed over the rejection deep down.
Nevertheless, Hope’s reaction could give Thomas some hope since she simply admitted she wasn’t ready “yet.”
It’d be different if Hope said she’d never want to marry Thomas, but she’s given him something to hold onto.
That’s especially true since Hope let Thomas put the engagement ring on a necklace.
Thomas suggested Hope could keep that ring close to her heart until she was ready for the next step.
Hope seemed touched by Thomas’ grand gesture and not too freaked out, so Thomas may think she’s going to come around sooner rather than later.
Of course, it’s possible Hope will take the necklace off before she goes around people like Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
It’s also possible Hope will continue her rebellious streak and wear that ring around her neck proudly.
Hope might view it as proof of Thomas’ devotion and patience, so she may keep it on and make waves with her proposal decision.
It could lead to Hope explaining to other characters that Thomas popped the question and is willing to wait.
