The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Wednesday, March 20, reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will push Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) over the edge. Now that Hope knows Steffy told Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to dump her, she’ll fly into a rage and make it clear that it wasn’t Steffy’s place to interfere.
Of course, Steffy is a protective sister, so she’ll feel perfectly entitled to help Thomas guard his heart.
The last thing Steffy wants is for Thomas to keep facing devastation and spiral into a new mental health crisis.
Steffy doesn’t believe Hope actually loves Thomas, but Hope will once again defend her deep feelings for him.
Hope assured Thomas of her love when she turned down his latest proposal attempt, but Steffy just won’t think Hope meant it.
However, Hope will take a firm stand against Steffy on Wednesday’s B&B episode and turn this into a major faceoff.
Hope might even take some jabs about Steffy’s own relationship and push her to focus on her problems with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) if she wants to worry about a marriage!
In the meantime, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will answer Thomas’ question in the design office since he’s wondering if Hope really loves him.
Thomas is hoping Brooke will be honest about this – and our predictions indeed point to her telling the truth.
Based on Brooke’s conversation with Hope in the salon, she can see how much Hope truly loves Thomas and wants to be with him.
It’s genuinely just a matter of Hope not being ready for another marriage, which is completely reasonable since she’s only been dating Thomas a few months – not to mention she just went through a painful divorce from Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Brooke may find a way to get through to Thomas and help him see that Hope needs someone who respects her point of view.
Thomas hasn’t been living up to the promises he made to Hope about being patient and not pressuring her, so he’s let her down, too.
At some point, Thomas might walk in on Steffy berating Hope and shut her down.
Once Thomas hears Hope passionately defending her love, he may decide that’s enough for him – at least for now.
Of course, it’s also possible Steffy truly got inside Thomas’ head with all that talk about needing to let Hope go.
That said, it’s hard to imagine any universe where Thomas – the guy whose entire world has revolved around Hope for years – actually breaks up with her.
If that happens, it’ll be a totally out-of-character move for Thomas and won’t make sense at all.
Thomas finally has the girl of his dreams, so why would he throw that away over not having a marriage certificate?
At Il Giardino, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will continue his efforts to convince Liam that Thomas is a different man now.
This is a situation where Liam and Carter will have to agree to disagree since Liam is probably never going to change his mind about who Thomas is as a person.
