The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, August 22, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) warned Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) that she’d never be alone with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) again and declared her friendship with him over.
Steffy also admitted she was leaving town for a bit, but she assured Hope that she was still 100-percent committed to Finn. After Steffy told Hope not to make a move on Finn while she was gone, Hope promised she wouldn’t.
However, Steffy didn’t care about Hope’s promises and suggested she should go seduce someone else’s husband if she couldn’t rein in her Logan impulses.
Meanwhile, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) assured Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) that she was just as appalled about Hope kissing Finn, but Taylor still went on a rant about Hope being just like her mother.
Once Hope appeared, Taylor blew up at her and thought that Hope had purposely targeted Steffy’s husband.
Now that Hope couldn’t pretend she had an ounce of dignity, Taylor called her out for following in Brooke’s footsteps.
At Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) place, he talked to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) about Poppy Nozawa’s (Romy Park) arrest and the fact that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) wasn’t his daughter after all.
Bill wasn’t sold on Poppy’s guilt and assured Liam that he still wanted to be there for Luna.
After Bill talked about Luna being vulnerable and flashed back her kissing him, he admitted Luna was very confused right now.
Steffy showed up to ask if Liam would watch Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) while she was out of town, so he assumed she was taking a trip with Finn and Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Alexander and Chase Banks).
When Liam realized that wasn’t the case, he guessed maybe it was a business trip instead.
Steffy finally admitted that something happened, so she needed some space.
Once Liam pushed for clarification, Steffy confessed that Hope kissed Finn and that her husband allowed it.
Both Liam and Bill got updates on the news before Steffy took off.
Next on Thursday’s B&B episode, Luna met up with RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) and filled him in on the second paternity test results proving she wasn’t really Bill’s daughter.
RJ was supportive and offered to let Luna come stay with him, but she thought she needed to be close to Bill since they both needed each other right now.
Afterward, Luna went home to Bill, who insisted she could lean on him.
As Luna sang Bill’s praises and ultimately gave him another kiss, Steffy returned for something she forgot and gaped over the lip lock she witnessed.
