The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, July 18, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) assured Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that he was done making allowances for Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) like he’d done in the past.
Steffy was grateful to Finn for standing up for her and their family, so they got passionate on the sofa in Thursday’s B&B episode.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) told Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) needed to find the best divorce lawyer in the country to get him out of his Sheila mess.
Although Ridge was glad Finn defended his wife and kids, he still seemed concerned over whether he could be the husband Steffy needed.
Hope piped up about how lucky Steffy was to be married to a man like Finn, so Brooke looked uneasy.
After Ridge left for a meeting, Hope surprised Brooke by admitting she gave Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) her blessing and wished him the best on his engagement to Paris Buckingham (Diamond White).
Once Hope said Finn thought she could do better than Thomas, Brooke expressed concern about her daughter’s feelings for the good doctor.
Hope insisted she was just friends with Finn, but Brooke made a prediction about how things could happen.
Brooke added that an innocent moment could suddenly ignite, so she reminded Hope that Finn was off-limits.
Hope reiterated that Finn was her friend and played up how he helped her realize she deserved an intelligent, loyal man.
Brooke pointed out that man wasn’t Finn, so Hope acted like she understood – though she did admit she wouldn’t complain if Finn had an identical twin!
Once Hope reflected on how she’d come to admire Finn in many ways, she gave Brooke another reason to worry.
Later, Hope thought back on some close moments with Finn and remembered Brooke’s warning to be very careful where Finn is concerned.
