The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 2, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) munched on pizza and fruit back at Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) place. Although John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) wanted to take Sheila to the hospital, she insisted on recuperating from her ordeal at home instead.
Sheila wondered how Deacon knew about “Sugar” aka Janet Webber (Kimberlin Brown), so Deacon explained that Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) gave him updates on all the Sugar drama.
After Finn and Deacon gently urged Sheila to tell them what happened, she explained how Sugar abducted her and chained her up in that building. Sheila flashed back to Sugar taunting her about how she was going to get payback.
Sugar’s plan was to commit crimes while posing as Sheila – starting with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) as her first victim.
The goal was to get Sheila locked up for life and make sure Finn never wanted to have anything to do with her.
Although Sheila begged Sugar not to hurt Steffy or the precious children she shared with Finn, Sugar made it clear that she was in charge now.
Sheila tried to get the upper hand, but she couldn’t do much in chains and got kicked by Sugar.
As Sugar left, Sheila yanked on her restraints and screamed for her not to hurt Steffy.
Once the flashback ended, Sheila told Finn and Deacon that she tried to stop Sugar from hurting Steffy and the kids, but Sugar was a madwoman obsessed with getting revenge.
Deacon held Sheila close to comfort her at one point – and Finn ended up embracing Sheila again as well.
Despite everything Sheila had been through, Finn praised her since her desire to protect Steffy was evident.
Sheila said she’d do anything to protect Finn, Steffy and the children, so Finn repeatedly insisted that he believed her.
At Il Giardino on Thursday’s B&B episode, Steffy sat at Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Ivy Forrester’s (Ashleigh Brewer) table, where she ribbed Ivy about flying all the way from Australia just to plant a kiss on her former flame.
Ivy kept showering Liam with compliments and pitched their reunion as Steffy rolled her eyes.
After Steffy mentioned that Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) wanted to see her dad, she told Liam they should get going.
Ivy gave Liam another kiss and a hug before urging him to call her. Once Ivy said her goodbyes and left, Steffy pointed out that being subtle definitely wasn’t Ivy’s strong suit.
However, Steffy admitted it wasn’t her strong suit either and guessed that was just a Forrester woman thing.
Once Liam headed to the cliff house with Steffy, they awaited Kelly’s drop-off together.
Steffy admitted Finn had been quiet and that it had given her a weird feeling like it was about Sheila, but she knew it couldn’t be since Sheila was out of their lives forever.
