The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 30, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) scoffed over Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) implying that she was canceling Hope’s line to teach her a lesson.
Steffy argued that she gave Hope and her team time to pull it together, but now she planned to talk to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) since a firm decision needed to be made.
After Hope left, Steffy spoke with Carter about Hope for the Future’s latest projections, which were even worse than expected.
Carter pointed out that Ridge said to give Hope’s line time to bounce back, but Steffy could tell Carter couldn’t make any confident predictions that they’d turn things around.
Steffy insisted that Hope for the Future was underperforming in a big way – and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) wasn’t there to save the day this time.
Although Carter didn’t think Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) would let Hope’s line get canceled, Steffy argued that she was CEO – not Brooke.
At the Forrester mansion, Brooke and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) quizzed Katie Logan (Heather Tom) about whether some part of her might want another chance with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Although Katie denied it at first, Donna and Brooke still felt like their sister loved and missed Bill on some level.
Katie finally admitted Donna and Brooke weren’t entirely off base since she’d had a lot of good times with Bill, who had been a remarkable father to Will Spencer (last played by George Finnegan).
Donna noted that Katie shared a child with Bill, which was something he’d never have with Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park). Although Katie acted like everyone had moved on, Donna argued that kind of love never goes away.
Once Hope came blowing in, she insisted something needed to be done about Steffy since she was out of control and pulling her usual vindictiveness.
Although Hope couldn’t deny Hope for the Future’s rough patch, she felt like Steffy wanted to destroy her line just because Hope’s name was on it.
Canceling Hope for the Future was about Steffy’s personal vendetta from Hope’s perspective, so Brooke, Donna and Katie were all taken aback over her updates.
Hope said she tried to play nice, but Steffy had another thing coming if she was going to pit the Forresters against the Logans again.
“Because this time, it’s war!” Hope declared on Thursday’s B&B episode.
At Bill’s place, he was eager to get a paternity test, but Poppy wanted to talk to Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) alone first and explain everything.
Once Poppy took off, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) showed up to get Bill’s signature on a Spencer Publications deal he’d been working on.
Bill was distracted, so Liam wondered what was going on with him today.
After Bill said Poppy gave him some mind-blowing news, he revealed that Poppy finally admitted he could be Luna’s father.
Liam was left stunned over Bill’s confession, but Bill could barely contain his excitement.
In the design office at Forrester Creations, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) arrived to grill Luna about Poppy’s relationship with Bill since she needed to know where things stood.
After Li ranted about Poppy’s pattern of using wealthy older men, Luna asked if she was saying Poppy was a gold digger.
Li insisted that’s exactly what she was saying, but Luna defended her mom since she felt Li’s attacks were unfair.
Luna argued that Bill meant a lot to Poppy, but Li refused to let Poppy take advantage of Kelly Spencer’s (Sophia Paras McKinlay) grandpa.
Later, Poppy found Luna alone and said there was something important she needed to know about her father.
Although Poppy wasn’t 100-percent certain, she said there was a very good chance Luna’s father was Bill.
Luna was shocked over Poppy’s about-face, but she seemed delighted at the thought of Bill being her bio dad.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill and Luna will get some DNA results sooner or later, so stay tuned to see how those will turn out!
