The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, September 5, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) gave Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) a bottle of water and eventually broke the cage lock using a tool from the construction site.
Once Steffy hugged Finn in gratitude, she rejected his hospital suggestion and just wanted to go home.
Finn carried Steffy inside the cliff house, but she eventually agreed to get checked out tomorrow morning.
For now, Steffy focused on recuperating so she could reunite with the kids and kissed Finn as she continued to praise his heroic rescue.
Back at the apartment building, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) insisted Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) was going to prison and shamed her for letting Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) sit behind bars instead.
Luna acted like Li didn’t care about Poppy anyway and complained since her horrible mother was on drugs half the time growing up.
Since Li didn’t intervene and help give Luna a better life, Luna blamed her aunt, too.
Luna ranted about having to kill Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) because Poppy was going to mess everything up like she always did.
After Li insisted Luna was going down for her crimes, Luna tried to make a break for it again. Li wound up slamming Luna to the floor and seemed pleased over her “Nozawa power” moment.
Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) showed up, so Li was happy to turn over Luna as the person behind the Il Giardino deaths and Steffy’s kidnapping.
While Luna got arrested on Thursday’s B&B episode, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was with Katie Logan (Heather Tom) when he got a call from Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears).
Justin had a contact in the police department, so he informed Bill that Poppy was innocent and walking free soon.
Bill learned the real culprit was in the process of getting taken into custody as well.
Once Bill gave a stunned Katie updates, he headed off to break the news to Poppy himself.
Poppy was confused as she was led to the visitors’ area, where Bill ultimately revealed that she was being released.
Thanks to a phone call to confirm things, Bill knew the police had apprehended the person who was responsible for targeting Tom and Hollis.
Poppy cried with relief and embraced Bill before Baker entered the room. Before Poppy could pry more info out of Baker, Luna was brought in looking glum.
Poppy didn’t notice that Luna was handcuffed, so she joyfully told her daughter that the cops caught the real killer.
Although Poppy was excited to go home, she realized Luna had a strange look on her face and wondered what was wrong.
