The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 16, reveals that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) noted that same drug was in both Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) and Tom Starr’s (Clint Howard) systems, so she knew exactly who was responsible.
Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) seemed nervous and suggested the answer wasn’t obvious to her, but Li felt confident Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) was to blame. Li warned John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) not to defend Sheila, so he insisted he wouldn’t.
Finn admitted the thought had crossed his mind about Sheila’s potential involvement, but he pointed out that the deaths could still be accidental.
Li maintained that Sheila was guilty, so she planned to march over to Il Giardino and confront that “madwoman.”
Finn argued that Li couldn’t just go over there without conclusive evidence, but Li stood her ground.
When Finn said he’d go with Li, she argued that he couldn’t undermine his marriage and endanger his family.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) all discussed the news of Hollis’ demise happening so soon after Tom’s.
Steffy thought it was obvious that Sheila was guilty and felt that even Hope’s gut was telling her the same thing.
Hope admitted it was possible that Tom and Hollis died because of Sheila.
After Steffy promised to make Sheila pay and took off, a pensive Hope flashed back to Sheila and Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) wedding.
Brooke checked on Hope, who pointed out that Deacon would want solid proof before he believed anything.
Ridge didn’t think Deacon would believe whatever was in the report anyway, but he definitely backed Steffy up when it came to Sheila being the culprit.
At Il Giardino, Deacon snapped at a reporter over the phone and complained to Sheila about all the vultures trying to make it seem like the restaurant was cursed.
However, Deacon confessed that it did feel like a plague had fallen upon Il Giardino.
Deacon was starting to think Tom and Hollis’ deaths were anything but random accidents.
Sheila suggested Deacon was just trying to make sense of the tragedies and downplayed the idea of foul play.
Back at the morgue on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Stefffy showed up looking for updates on Hollis’ autopsy report.
Li insisted that just like Tom, Hollis was murdered by Sheila.
Finn said that was Li’s interpretation of the results, but he agreed it was possible since Hollis and Tom died the same way.
The details of Hollis’ report showed that his demise was suspicious since the same drug that killed Tom was in his system.
Steffy argued it was no accident that two employees dropped dead in the same place where Sheila worked.
Although Steffy didn’t have all the answers, she knew one thing for certain and vowed that this time Sheila would pay for her crimes!
