The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Tuesday, July 2, reveal that Tom Starr (Clint Howard) isn’t going to make it now that he’s collapsed following his performance. Tom’s death will be confirmed – and that’ll bring the official start of the summer mystery that’s surrounding him.
Based on how things played out in Monday’s episode, the show’s offered up five suspects so far. Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) certainly had a motive to get rid of Tom permanently since he was threatening to tell Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) that he was her father.
However, Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) is on the suspect list as well since she had some issues with Tom recently.
Although Sheila seemed to reach an understanding with Tom, looks can be deceiving!
That said, there’s a good chance Sheila is innocent, but you can bet she’ll have some fingers pointed at her soon due to her shady history.
Sheila could even become the victim of a frame-up, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Of course, the show just offered three other potential culprits, too. Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) is finally back on the scene and probably has some beef with Tom due to something that happened in the past.
Perhaps Tom swindled Justin out of some money once upon a time or something along those lines.
Whatever the case, B&B fans will eventually learn more about how Justin and Tom are connected.
Jack Finnegan’s (Ted King) sudden return to the canvas is also intriguing and makes him just as much of a suspect.
Could Jack have a hidden motive that’ll ultimately be revealed?
There’s also Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), who stayed for the live show despite seeming like she wasn’t really into the music.
Li was glaring like she had something to hide and could’ve easily been the one who targeted Tom backstage.
Regardless, they set up quite a whodunit when they showed someone putting a mysterious white powder into Tom’s sports drink.
Tom guzzled that drink between songs and clearly keeled over because of the poison at the end of the night.
Now B&B can provide some updates on the five suspects they’ve introduced, but they might throw in a few more as this storyline heats up!
