The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Tuesday, October 22, reveals that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) flashed back to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) defending her in the Forrester meeting, so she was grinning to herself when Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) appeared.
Brooke mentioned that Hope was smiling at the office, so Hope suggested she was trying to keep an open mind about what was possible.
However, Brooke knew Hope had been under a lot of stress when it came to her line and said she told Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) how Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) came to her defense.
After Brooke sang Carter’s praises, Hope agreed that he was a very passionate man.
Since Carter was Forrester Creations’ COO and Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) best friend, Brooke was confident it would help having him in Hope’s corner.
Talk eventually turned to Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) video package for Hope, which she acknowledged was pretty incredible.
Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) also popped up in the design office, where he talked to Hope and Brooke about his new internship.
Since the gorgeous women at Forrester were a big part of the appeal, Hope suggested one of them would be thrilled to meet a handsome catch like Will.
In the CEO office, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) bickered with Carter about Hope for the Future again before he hinted about expansion plans and taking more risks.
Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) took her jewelry line back when she left town, but Carter said that didn’t mean they were out of the jewelry business.
Once Carter got a notification on his phone, he admitted he set up a meeting and asked Steffy to keep an open mind.
Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) walked in and apologized if this felt like an ambush. Steffy confessed that it did and complained about Carter not offering updates on this pitch in advance.
However, Ivy played up the fact that they were family and got Steffy’s condolences on the passing of her father, John Forrester (Fred Willard).
After Ivy tried to sell Steffy on her abilities as a jewelry designer, Steffy wondered how she was supposed to work with someone she couldn’t trust.
Ivy was willing to get past their long-standing issues, but Steffy seemed reluctant.
Once Ivy admitted she didn’t come alone, she brought Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) in next and insisted her niece was a big part of the line. Steffy was thrilled to see Electra all grown up and gave her a hug.
Electra said Grandpa John would want them all working together and admitted she wrote a report on Steffy once because she was such a strong woman and CEO.
Ivy hoped Steffy would give them a reason to stay and contribute to the company.
Carter once again pushed the idea of expansion and urged Steffy to say yes to Ivy along with this new jewelry line.
At Il Giardino on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Deacon and Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) enjoyed some flirty banter before she admitted another employee told her about Brooke’s visit to the restaurant.
Sheila pointed out that Deacon didn’t mention it, so Deacon wondered if she was jealous before explaining that Brooke just came to talk about Hope.
Deacon was upset over Hope’s rough patch and addressed the move she made on John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), who didn’t reciprocate her kiss.
Steffy wasn’t going to cut Hope any slack after what happened with Finn, so Deacon was worried about his daughter.
Sheila insisted that Brooke would look out for Hope and was pleased over the news that Carter had been coming to Hope’s defense, too.
Although Sheila knew how Steffy could be when it came to holding onto grievances, she pointed out that no workplace was all roses and smiles.
Deacon just didn’t like to see Hope struggle and wanted her to have the success she deserved.
Sheila assured Deacon that Hope would be successful like her dad and that she was going to be just fine.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Carter will continue to play the hero for Hope, but our predictions suggest it could cost him more than he bargained for!
