The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, January 29, reveals that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) will argue that she deserves the truth after all these years. Whenever Luna quizzed Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) about her father in the past, her mom always managed to shut down the discussion.
However, Luna will push Poppy not to do that this time. Since RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) convinced Luna that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) could be her bio dad, Luna expects Poppy to tell her if that’s true or not.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Poppy has to do what Luna wants! Poppy’s answer could involve more of her usual insistence about Luna needing to let it go.
Then again, Poppy was starting to cry as Luna grilled her and seemed like she might be ready to spill something – even if it’s not necessarily the truth.
If Luna’s real father is someone like Jack Finnegan (Ted King), it’s easy to see why Poppy would want to keep that buried.
Poppy has acknowledged that maybe she came back together with Bill for a reason – and perhaps that reason is she’s going to pass him off as Luna’s father, even when he isn’t really.
On the other hand, it’s possible this is one of those stories where if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s probably a duck.
The show’s certainly been foreshadowing the reveal of Bill as Luna’s bio dad, so could the simplest answer be the truth? If so, will Poppy admit it?
Luna will be suspicious of whatever Poppy tries to tell her on Monday’s episode, so she’ll get the feeling that she’s not getting the whole story.
Other B&B spoilers say Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will apparently let something slip during his chat with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Ridge may ask about Thomas’ romance with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and get updates on them potentially being in this for the long haul.
Thomas might hint about a new reason to feel confident about his future and lead to Ridge connecting the marriage proposal dots.
One way or another, Ridge will determine that Thomas must’ve given Hope an engagement ring.
Thomas will likely admit that ring isn’t on Hope’s finger yet, but she’s wearing it on a chain close to her heart – and that’ll be good enough to give Thomas hope for their marriage.
Ridge may urge Thomas to pump the brakes a bit and try to make sure his son isn’t moving too fast.
This could leave Ridge worried about Thomas’ infatuated side bubbling up and rushing Hope to the altar, but he’ll accept Thomas’ explanation when he insists this is about knowing it feels right.
Thomas might promise that he’s fine waiting until Hope’s ready, but he’ll also feel certain she’s going to be ready sooner rather than later.
Ridge will ultimately support Thomas’ recent question popping, but Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) doesn’t approve of this relationship and will approve even less as the proposal news starts to spread!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will face plenty of naysayers in the coming episodes, but he’ll concentrate on his goal of marrying Hope and try to tune the rest out.
