The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 17, reveals that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) insisted Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) had the exact same drug in their systems at the exact same level of toxicity.
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) pointed out that Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) used to be a nurse, so she knew all about dosing.
After Steffy said Sheila needed to be stopped before she hurt someone else, she was ready to confront the accused.
John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) wondered if an altercation was really wise, but Steffy insisted Finn and Li should come with her.
Steffy basically thought they could gang up on Sheila and that she’d be hot-headed enough to spill something about her guilt.
At home, Sheila warned Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) not to let his mind run wild with thoughts of murder.
“Did somebody say murder?” Deputy Chief Bradly Baker (Dan Martin) asked as he entered the open door.
As Baker asked questions about Tom and Hollis, Steffy showed up with Li and Finn.
That led to some talk about the two overdose victims and the same toxicity level that was found.
Steffy declared that Sheila killed Hollis and Tom, but Sheila denied it.
Deacon also insisted the accusation was ludicrous and refused to stand for these false claims against his wife.
Sheila pointed out she was a different person now and that she was grateful to Tom for saving her life.
Sheila also respected Hollis, so she tried to convince her accusers that she didn’t have a motive here.
Suddenly, Sheila remembered Hollis mentioning Tom’s backpack and something inside that could’ve gotten Tom killed.
Now that Hollis was deceased too, Sheila said they had to find that backpack.
Steffy thought Sheila was just making stuff up – especially after they all searched Il Giardino and came up with nothing.
Deacon didn’t see why Sheila would lie about something like this and argued there was no proof she was guilty of anything.
However, Deacon was forced to admit he wasn’t with Sheila the whole night. After Steffy pushed Baker to take Sheila in for questioning, Li backed her up.
Sheila reiterated that she had nothing to do with these deaths and begged Finn to believe her.
Finn acted like destruction followed Sheila and suggested he’d feel safer if Baker indeed questioned her.
“Chief Baker, take her away,” Finn said on Wednesday’s B&B episode.
As Baker led Sheila out, she turned back toward Finn with a betrayed look on her face.
At Forrester Creations, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) struggled to understand why Sheila would target Hollis and Tom.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) suggested Sheila was a psychopath who defied explanation.
After Hope flashed back to some sweet Hollis moments, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) showed up with news from his police contact about Hollis’ overdose.
Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) didn’t think Hollis showed any signs of substance abuse, so Carter felt like this reinforced the Sheila theory.
Ridge thought it was more than a theory at this point and mentioned that Steffy was trying to get to the bottom of things at the hospital.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy will do whatever she can to make sure Sheila’s locked up, so we’ll bring you updates on the case and more predictions on what’s looming for Sheila.
