In tonight’s The Voice episode, tonight was the results from the Semi-Finals! Reba kicked off the show with her song “Consider Me Gone”. The Queen of Country was truly a sight to behold and she should definitely post where she got the bejeweled cowboy jacket from. No lie that jacket was fantastic, but tonight was about more than clothing. The contestants got to learn who would be going into the next round. The first finalist named tonight was Sofronio Vasquez. He was Team Michael Bublé. He was voted in by America and who knows he might win it all next week.
There was also a performance from Gwen Stefani. She performed her song “Somebody Else’s”. It was very much a Pop song. Her Pop roots were on display tonight and the rest of the album sounds just as amazing. It was after Gwen’s performance that the second finalist. The second person going into the Finals was Sydney Sterlace. She was Team Gwen. Which was big win for Gwen. She didn’t really do too well with her last season. She can now avenge herself by pushing Sydney into the spotlight.
Snoop also got into the Finals! Jeremy Beloate was Team Snoop Dogg and he was now a finalist as well. This was Snoop’s first season. He was doing incredibly well for a rookie coach. He was also known as the funny guy behind the scenes. He had everyone cracking up once he started dancing. He’s been around forever and yet it’s the same dance. The same dance all the time. It fits him so well that it wouldn’t look good on anyone else if they did it. It’s part of his legacy now. He’s the one that kept the vibes going even as they were all competing against each other.
There was a performance from October London. He was a singer signed under Snoop’s record label.
Guess Snoop didn’t want to perform and so he got this guy to do it. October London performed his song “3rd Shift”. It was a great R&B sing. October London has a smooth voice. Maybe one day he’ll come back as a mentor if not coach. That aside, the next finalist that was named was Shye. She was also Michel’s team. He’s doing really well out of all of the coaches. He has a better chance of having a winner than anyone else.
Snoop’s Christina Eagle performed tonight. She performed the song “Heart Like A Truck”. She was aiming for the last spot in the Finals and was a great Country music artist. By that point, there was no Country musician in the Finals. Snoop reminded everyone of that fact and he told her that they could change it by voting for Christina. Next up was Team Reba’s Adam Bohanan. He performed “Pretty Wings”. He has an R&B voice. He also could reach a high note unlike anyone else in the competition.
Everyone has such great voices. Most of them were unique in their own way. Reba also needed just one artist in the Finals and her best bet was Adam. He’s the one that got a standing ovation at the end of his performance. Adam’s performance was followed by Team Gwen’s Jan Dan. He performed “Gravity”. It was another incredible performance and he would directly compete with Adam even if they both had gotten picked for the Finals. They have a similar style as well as tone. And the last Instant Save performance was from Team Reba again.
Reba’s Danny Joseph performed “House of the Rising Sun”. He has a Rock vibe to him. He seemed like such a cool guy and it felt unfair to pick just one person after a night of great performances. Only it was a competition. The last contestants all got a chance to thank their coaches. The coaches got their last chance to uplift their teams. Then the last finalist was named. The Instant Save got Danny Joseph into the Finals. Reba now has a member in the final fight. And her biggest competitor will be Michael.
THE END!
