The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, July 26, reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be tempted to warn Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about Victor Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) Chancellor takeover plot, but she’ll decide against it when Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) admits she really wants to run the company.
At the office, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will reject Billy’s new logo for Abbott-Chancellor since the Abbott part will be too prominent.
Once Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) shows up to share his engagement updates, he’ll notice the logo and learn Lily already vetoed it.
However, Devon will act like this is proof of how Billy’s going to push Lily out of the picture. As Devon’s leaving, he’ll bump into Billy by the elevator and share a tense moment with him.
If Billy drags Lily down with his inevitable destruction or tries to cast her aside, Devon will warn that Billy’s going to turn him into an even bigger enemy.
At Crimson Lights, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be glad about Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) latest win with the judge, but she’ll wonder if maybe all his is still breaking her daughter’s heart.
Summer will insist Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) got what he deserved and won’t be upset about it.
That said, Summer will mention that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) was trying to guilt-trip her about disappointing Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell).
At the Abbott mansion, Kyle will act like he’s going to be too busy with work, so he won’t be able to take Harrison and Claire after all.
Harrison will be bummed over the news, but he’ll bounce back quickly when Kyle promises a real Paris vacation soon.
Claire will also play up all the fun things they can do together while Kyle is gone, so Harrison will like the sound of that.
Once Harrison is in the kitchen, Kyle will rant about Summer’s selfishness and point out that he has a new problem. Since Kyle’s going to be away for a week, he’ll worry about what Summer might try to pull in the meantime.
Kyle will note that he could use someone trustworthy to keep an eye on Summer, so Claire will wonder if he’s asking her to spy.
Although Kyle won’t call it that, he’ll suggest Claire could let him know if Summer makes any preemptive custody moves.
Claire won’t think that’s a good idea since Summer already has issues with her and would have even more if she found out.
Kyle will decide he shouldn’t have put Claire in that position, so he’ll urge her to just forget about it.
When Harrison pops back up on Friday’s Y&R episode, he’ll be excited when Kyle offers to take them all to the park for ice cream.
Back with Summer and Phyllis, they’ll head to the park as well. Phyllis will encourage Summer to step away from work for a bit so she can spend extra time with Harrison while Kyle is away.
Phyllis will also push Summer to take lots of pictures so she can show the judge who’s there for Harrison while Kyle is off galivanting in other countries.
Once Kyle, Claire and Harrison show up, Harrison will let Summer know that the Paris trip isn’t happening after all.
However, Harrison will suggest it’s OK since Claire has some other fun things they can do while Kyle’s gone.
Summer will mention taking time off work and will play up her own fun plans with Harrison, so she’ll hug him and smugly glare at Kyle.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Claire might end up spying for Kyle despite her previous refusal, so stick with us for predictions on the drama she might stir up.
