The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, June 14, reveals that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will try to charm Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) with some of her favorite snacks and sweet-talk her into doing what he wants at Chancellor-Winters.
Although Lily will understand Billy’s motives when it comes to adding “Abbott” to the company name for Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), she’ll think the rest of his agenda is selfish and about chasing another high.
Billy will still want to run the whole thing alongside Lily while Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) gets brushed aside.
Lily will think Billy’s a hypocrite for wanting to honor Jill’s contributions while downplaying Devon’s.
However, Billy will defend his position and wonder what it’s going to take to make Lily see things from his perspective.
As far as Billy’s concerned, this will be their chance to take Chancellor-Winters to new heights.
In Paris, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will be skeptical over Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) plan, but she’ll make it clear that she’s already pulled it off behind his back.
Although Tucker will ask who the anonymous investor behind the buyout is, Audra will decide it’ll be more fun for him to get blindsided later.
Despite Tucker’s best efforts to convince Audra that they could have a real opportunity at happiness, she’ll stand her ground and gloat over her victory.
Tucker will insist Audra’s breaking his heart, but she’ll act like he’d have to have one for that to happen.
Afterward, Tucker will meet with Dawn (Gina Garcia-Sharp) and urge his assistant to pretend she’s joined Audra’s team.
That way, Dawn can fish for information from the board members and try to figure out what’s really going on.
In Genoa City, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will bump into Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) the GCAC, so Kyle will mention that Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) asked to have a drink with him.
Kyle will point out that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) thinks Cole’s being an overprotective father.
Next on Friday’s Y&R episode, Victor will bring up Kyle’s unfortunate working situation since he’s reporting to Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters), who’s still learning the ropes.
After Victor assumes Kyle’s still unhappy in his position, he’ll point out that they’re always looking for bright executives at Newman Enterprises.
Once Victor heads to the ranch, he’ll speak with Audra over the phone. It’ll be revealed that Victor is the investor behind the Glissade buyout.
Victor will look forward to his partnership with Audra and will make a prediction about building a cosmetic company that can crush whatever comes their way.
At Society, Diane will approach Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and seem suspicious as he wraps up a supportive phone conversation, but he’ll admit he was on the phone with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland).
There’ll be some lingering tension over Diane pushing Jack to stop being Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) sponsor – and then Nikki herself will create more with her arrival.
After Nikki apologizes to Diane for the danger Jack put himself in because of her, Diane will claim she appreciates it.
However, the claws will come out a bit on both sides once Jack’s on another phone call.
Nikki will ultimately make it clear that she intends to maintain a friendship with Jack.
Although Nikki will basically question the strength of Jack and Diane’s marriage, Diane will act like they’re just fine and will think Nikki’s marriage is the one to worry about.
Instead of constantly calling Jack and making him feel obligated to help, Diane will suggest Nikki should be leaning on her own husband.
Once Jack returns, he’ll seemingly pick up on the hostility that’s bubbled up, but Diane and Nikki will pretend it’s all good.
Jack will eventually give Diane the news that he needs to go to Paris to be there for Traci and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
That’ll leave Diane complaining about the short notice before more drama erupts with Kyle at home.
Diane will call Kyle out for avoiding her and will want to move past their work issues. Kyle will act like Diane’s the one making a big deal out of things.
When Kyle realizes Diane snitched to Jack about him hijacking the Foley deal, he’ll get irritated. Kyle will think it’s like Diane wants him to be the bad guy here, so he’ll stomp out of the room.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane and Kyle’s feud is far from over, so stay tuned for updates on the consequences!
