The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, May 3, reveals that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will quiz Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about her romantic reconnection with Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) before Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) joins them at Society.
Victor will worry since Nikki will be MIA after staying out all night, so Nick will raise the possibility that Jordan (Colleen Zenk) could’ve survived and got to her.
However, Victor will eventually get some news from his security team about Nikki’s location, so he’ll head for the athletic club.
In Nikki’s suite, she’ll talk to the paramedics, who’ll finish giving Jack a shot to counteract the opioids and will plan to follow up with his doctor.
Once the paramedics leave and Jack awakens, Nikki will scold him for going to such extremes to give her a wake-up call.
Jack will end up taking Nikki’s hand right before Victor barges in looking furious.
After Victor slams the door and demands to know what’s going on, Jack will try to take the blame for everything.
Once Jack admits his relapse and credits Nikki with saving his life, Victor will fume and hint that he wouldn’t have done the same in her shoes.
Nikki will admit she’s ready for rehab, so Victor will take her home and plan to make all the arrangements.
At the ranch, Nikki will explain that Jack was trying to help her, but Victor won’t even want to hear Jack’s name at this point. That said, Victor will be glad Nikki’s OK and that she’s finally heading to a rehab facility.
Once Victor hugs Nikki, she’ll also give Nick and Victoria updates on her rehab plans, so they’ll show their support.
Nikki will acknowledge that all this has shaken Victor up, so she’ll privately urge Victoria and Nick to support him.
At the Abbott mansion, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will show up to check on Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell), so Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will stop her from rushing off and will insist none of the Jordan chaos was her fault.
Kyle will put all the blame on Jordan, but Claire will still feel like she paved the way for her great-aunt’s reign of terror.
Claire will assume Kyle believed she was an accomplice at first, so he’ll acknowledge that it was hard to go against how things looked.
As Claire thinks back on her ordeal, she’ll remember being terrified that she wouldn’t make it out alive to clear her name.
Nevertheless, Kyle will give Claire a pep talk and remind Claire that she’s got a Jordan-free future ahead now that her great-aunt is deceased.
Harrison will eventually come running downstairs, so he’ll have a happy reunion with Claire right as Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) walks in and flashes a dirty look.
Although Harrison will want Claire to read to him upstairs, she’ll suggest doing it another time and hint that Summer probably wants to read to him instead.
Claire will make plans with Kyle to see Harrison again, which will leave Summer looking uneasy.
At the tack house, Victoria will panic over not being able to find Claire, but she’ll pull her into a relieved hug when she returns and explains about her Harrison visit.
Later, Summer will relay her concerns to Kyle about how Harrison is holding up in the kidnapping aftermath.
Once Summer suggests Harrison should see a professional for therapy, Kyle will get on board with that plan.
After Kyle mentions getting back to their nanny search, Summer will vow to watch Harrison herself.
Kyle will wonder what Summer’s going to do about work, but she’ll intend to figure it out since Harrison comes first.
Y&R fans will also hear Kyle make some phone calls as he looks for missing Jack, who’ll finally drag himself home looking rough.
Kyle will seem suspicious over where Jack’s been, but Jack will talk about helping a friend and try to downplay things.
Soon after, Victor will show up at the door and make it clear that he’s only going to give Jack this warning once.
“Don’t you ever come near my wife again,” Victor will declare before stomping off.
