The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 12, reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be working an angle as usual when she approaches Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) at the athletic club. Phyllis will ambush Lily for a woman-to-woman chat and hint about having a lot to discuss.
Lily may suspect Phyllis is looking for the latest scoop on what’s happening with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at Abbott-Chancellor.
Billy has agreed to step back and become a silent partner, but Lily’s still working out all the details with him.
Of course, Lily probably won’t be willing to divulge any inside info to Phyllis.
Since Phyllis seems to be perpetually unemployed, she might even fish for a new job now that Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) is working elsewhere.
Phyllis could also bring up Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and act protective of his romantic reunion with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).
There’s a good chance Phyllis will end up offending Lily at some point during this conversation, so Lily may make it crystal clear that she doesn’t want Daniel back and never will.
Meanwhile, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will land in a tight spot due to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) new mission.
Victor will stop by his son’s office and force Adam to tackle a project that may require some mudslinging.
If Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is the target, then you can bet Adam will object.
Adam already warned Victor that he wouldn’t do anything to hurt Jack or his family members.
Naturally, Adam might make an exception for Billy if Victor’s new mission involves targeting “Billy Boy” instead.
However, that could still bring some complications for Adam since he’s already at odds with Billy over the secret he’s keeping with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
The harder Adam pushes Billy, the more likely it becomes that Billy will strike back and ultimately find out the truth about Baltimore.
Following Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Alan Laurent’s (Christopher Cousins) Hollywood trip, Y&R spoilers say they’ll come back to Genoa City to catch up with Jack and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters).
Traci and Alan’s chemistry will be on full display, so Jack will be taken aback and thrilled over the romantic developments.
The same goes for Diane since she’ll think Traci deserves to share her life with someone special.
Early during the week of August 12-16, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will also have a meeting to discuss a revised custody agreement.
It’ll be a new effort to work things out on Victor’s orders.
Summer’s attempt to totally ban Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) from the picture is bound to lead to trouble, so we’ll pass along more predictions on the blowup this will cause.
