The Young and the Restless Monday, August 26 Recap: Faith & Lucy Unconscious After Car Crash, Sharon’s Tearful Meltdown

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, August 26, reveals that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will fib to Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) about having Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) nightmares, but she’ll deny that he’s appearing to her when she’s awake.

After Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) texts Faith about being in trouble, Faith will talk to Sharon about trying to let her down gently earlier.

Sharon will give Faith a nudge to go help Lucy, who’ll be drunk in the park when Faith finds her.

Lucy will admit to stealing a bottle of booze from a bar and beg Faith to drive her home without telling her parents.

Later, Sharon will get an alarming phone call about Faith being in an accident, so she’ll rush out the door and head to the hospital.

At Society, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will have a conversation about Lucy’s grounding and all the struggles she’s been having.

Since Heather and Daniel will assume Lucy is still at home on Monday’s Y&R episode, they’ll be taken aback when the hospital calls Heather’s phone about the accident.

At the GCAC, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will join Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) at the bar and make another attempt to repair their father-son bond, but Kyle will think it’s best to just avoid each other.

After Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) has a fun date night with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), they’ll bump into Kyle near the door.

Summer will admit she’s ready to talk to their lawyers and draw up a new joint custody agreement that’s fair to them both, so Kyle will be relieved.

At Crimson Lights, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will find Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) looking glum, so he’ll get her to open up about past mistakes and her desire to fix things for Summer.

However, Nick will make Phyllis promise to avoid meddling and just keep giving Summer the support she needs.

Once Sharon calls with news on Faith’s accident, Nick will bolt out of the coffeehouse and surprise Jack as he runs past.

Phyllis and Jack will hope that Faith’s OK since Nick and Sharon have already dealt with enough loss.

At the hospital, Sharon and Nick will cross paths with Heather and Daniel, so they’ll realize Lucy and Faith were in the same car.

The EMT will confirm that both girls were found unconscious after the car skidded off the road and crashed into a wall.

Although the EMT will suggest that the doctor can supply updates, Sharon won’t be content to just wait around and will pull back the curtain to reveal Faith.

Faith will still be unconscious and will have some scratches on her face from the crash.

Sharon will cry by Faith’s bedside with Nick standing there looking concerned as well.

As for Daniel and Heather, they’ll rush to unconscious Lucy’s side nearby.

Lucy won’t look quite as banged up as Faith, but Heather and Daniel will still worry about her condition.
