The Young and the Restless Monday, July 15 Recap: Sharon’s Cassie Hallucinations – Claire’s Sneaky Plan Works

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, July 15, reveals that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will dream of painful Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) memories before seeing a vision of Cassie standing in the room. Sharon will ultimately wake up crying as she wonders what’s happening to her.

At Society, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will talk to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about their concerns regarding Sharon’s off behavior lately.

Nick will mention the meds adjustment, but Mariah will also think Sharon is lonely.

After Tessa, Mariah and Nick bring dinner to the cottage, Sharon will call them out for checking up on her.

Mariah will once again mention Sharon perhaps being lonely, so Sharon will get choked up despite acting like she’s fine.

When Sharon steps into the kitchen on Monday’s Y&R episode, she’ll hear Cassie’s voice call out “Mom” and seem unsettled.

At Newman Enterprises, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will confront Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) since he warned Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) about him, but Victor will act like it was a general warning about any budding relationship with a young man.

Victor will make it clear that they’ll become enemies if Kyle ever takes advantage of Claire’s naivety, but Kyle will insist he’s in awe of Claire and would never do that to his friend.

At the Abbott mansion, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will once again seem jealous of Claire’s bond with Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell).

After Claire leaves for the night, Summer will quiz Harrison about how he really feels about moving to Kyle’s new house.

Harrison will seem totally fine with it since Kyle said it was an adventure and that he could decorate his new room.

Summer will admit she wants to buy a new house as well, so Harrison will get excited about having yet another room.

Once Summer updates Harrison on this news, he’ll also accept her offer to help pick out the house itself.

However, Harrison will eventually wonder if Summer’s asking him to choose which house he wants to live in.

Kyle will walk in just in time to hear that question and will fume once he’s alone with Summer.

It’ll be obvious that Summer knows a judge would frown upon her living in a hotel, so Kyle will assume she’s getting her ducks in a row for the custody feud.

Summer won’t want to discuss this when Harrison could come downstairs and see them fighting, but she’ll insist making a stable life for their son is her priority.

At Crimson Lights, Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) will snap over everything being about “Claire, Claire, Claire” since she came back.

Katie won’t be happy about Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) barging in on family time either, but Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will scold her for being rude.

Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) will think Claire is being dramatic for attention, but Katie will suggest she just doesn’t like Claire and wonder if that really isn’t an option.

Claire will ultimately walk in on all the commotion before asking if she can speak with Katie alone.

That’ll give Claire a chance to ask Katie for advice on dealing with Victoria since she can be a little overbearing sometimes.

Katie will offer some tips and slowly warm up to Claire in the process.

Once Claire opens up about her friendless childhood with terrifying Jordan (Colleen Zenk), Katie will have sympathy for her and warm up to her even more.

By the end of the night, Johnny, Katie and Claire will all be laughing around the dinner table while Cole and Victoria watch them.

Cole will take Victoria’s hand as they enjoy their blended family making progress.

Back with Billy, he’ll run into Victor at the GCAC. Victor will invite Billy for a drink before bringing up concerns about the Chancellor-Winters demerger.

Billy will ask why Victor cares, but Victor won’t want Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) paying the price for Billy’s arrogance.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will continue to think he knows best, so we’ll bring you predictions on whether his smug side will turn into a problem.
