The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, July 29, reveals that Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will catch up with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) in the park, so she’ll confess she’s worried about Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Since Sharon’s emotions are all over the place and she keeps getting distracted, Faith will have good reasons to be concerned.
Nick will mention that Sharon’s doctor has been trying to adjust her meds, but Faith won’t be sure she’s taking them at all.
It turns out Faith has caught Sharon picking up the bottle and putting it down without opening it on multiple occasions.
Faith will relay that news to Nick along with updates on Sharron missing work meetings and fixating on the loss of Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes).
At the cottage, Sharon will remind herself that it wasn’t real when Nick locked lips with her.
After Sharon talks to another Cassie vision, she’ll feel like her brain is just showing her what she wants to see.
At Society, Sharon will get snippy with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei), who’ll understand why seeing him brings a lot of pain.
Daniel will talk about how sorry he is for his role in Cassie’s crash and will regret many of his decisions from that night.
Sharon will question why she’s going through this wave of grief now and having all these outbursts.
However, Daniel will basically act like Sharon’s strong emotions are evidence of how much Cassie will always mean to her.
Later, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will keep up her lie about attending the pool party, but Daniel will obsess over who she rode home with.
Once Lucy pushes Daniel to chill and claims she took a rideshare, she’ll guess he’s sensitive about this because of what happened to Cassie.
Lucy will admit to looking up the whole ordeal online, so she’ll want Daniel to know that he can be honest about stuff like that in his history.
Since Lucy is the same age as Cassie was when she died, she’ll assume that must be weird for Daniel.
In the park on Monday’s Y&R episode, Sharon will run into Faith and Nick, but they won’t come clean about their previous conversation.
Nick will simply bring up Sharon’s meds and whether they’re leveling off yet.
Sharon will deceive Nick by acting like she feels terrific and claiming she’s back to her normal self.
At Newman Media, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will celebrate a video call from Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) doctor since he’ll be ready for intensive outpatient treatment.
Connor will still have to keep up with his therapy and various check-ins, but his medical team will now feel that he’s better off at home.
Adam and Chelsea will be thrilled over Connor’s imminent return to Genoa City, so they’ll hug a couple times before realizing they probably shouldn’t get so close.
After a positive video chat with Connor, Chelsea and Adam will prepare to take the Newman jet to Baltimore and bring him back today.
At the coffeehouse, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will run into Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), so they’ll talk about Adam’s new claims about blowing up at Chelsea while he was drunk and upset.
Although Billy will suggest that was uncalled for, he’ll also suspect there’s more going on with Chelsea and Adam.
Billy will work to convince Sally that they need to have a conversation with Adam and Chelsea to get the rest of the story. That way, they can all move past any lingering questions and doubts.
When Chelsea and Adam show up at Crimson Lights, they’ll get uncomfortable over Billy’s pressure to share whatever they’re still hiding.
Billy will think they could share a meal and get everything out in the open, but Adam and Chelsea will explain that Connor is coming home today.
Sally and Billy will insist that’s wonderful news, but Billy will think they still have time for coffee while the Newman jet is being prepared.
Billy will really put Chelsea and Adam on the spot when it comes to this honest chat he wants to have,
