The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, March 18, reveals that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) point out that prison is too good for Jordan (Colleen Zenk), but she’ll seek confirmation that he still intends to call the authorities.
Once Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) confirms that’s the plan, Nikki will insist on confronting Jordan one last time.
Victor will think that’s a terrible idea and will worry that it could trigger Nikki’s drinking, but she’ll think it could actually empower her to stay sober.
At Crimson Lights, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will tell Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) that someone intentionally deceived her about Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) demise as a baby.
However, Victoria won’t think that person deserves any more attention, so she’ll keep the focus on how wonderful it’s been to connect with Claire.
In Victoria’s heavily edited story, she’ll note that Claire was determined to find her parents and will make it seem like a far rosier version of events.
Kyle will mention that he heard Claire just got out of the hospital, so he’ll hope she’s doing better now.
Claire will confirm that she is, but Summer will get the feeling that they’re not getting all the full picture here.
After Claire shares another fun moment with Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez), she’ll mention her talk with Nikki and how she’d like to work in a field that involves children.
Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Victoria will get a text from Victor and seemed worried.
Victoria will relay the news of Victor’s message to Claire and suggest they should head back to the ranch now.
Once Victoria and Claire return, they’ll find out Nikki is pushing for a chance to confront Jordan.
Victor will hope Victoria can talk her mother out of it, but Victoria will back Nikki up instead – and Claire will also be on Nikki’s side.
Claire and Victoria will want to get in on Nikki’s confrontation plan as well, so they’ll pitch the idea of the three of them going together.
After all the horror Jordan’s inflicted, Nikki, Victoria and Claire will want to take their power back.
Victor will eventually relent, but he’ll think the ladies need someone to accompany them.
Nikki will insist it can’t be Victor, but she’ll agree to let a security guard monitor things as long as he stays out of the way.
At the Abbott mansion, Harrison will tell Kyle and Summer that Claire is his friend now, so he’ll be eager to see her again.
While Harrison is upstairs, Kyle will suggest maybe Claire could be Harrison’s new babysitter – at least temporarily until she figures out what she wants to do next.
Summer will have reservations, but Kyle will point out that Claire got a job working under Nikki and seemingly assume her background checks out all right.
Even so, Summer will point out that trusting Claire to care for a child is different than trusting her to do a corporate job. Kyle will get that and agree that Summer should have a conversation with Nikki.
Since it didn’t seem like they were getting the whole story, Summer will guess it must be pretty messy if Victoria and Claire couldn’t share it in front of Harrison.
It’ll leave Summer wondering if it’s so bad that Claire and Victoria won’t end up sharing at all.
At Society, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will watch Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) looking a bit rattled as she enters.
When Billy approaches Ashley at the bar, she’ll call him “bro” and lead to him asking if she’s OK since she’s never called him that before.
Billy will hope Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is out of Ashley’s system, so she’ll note that she’s totally over Tucker and will insist he’s so gross!
Ashley’s speech will seem childlike and all over the place, so Billy will point out that she doesn’t sound like herself.
Although Ashley will do her best to keep the conversation going, Billy will seem concerned before he gets summoned back to the office.
Ashley will eventually order a ginger ale with a cherry and will shut up once of the voices that tries to tell her that this isn’t her department.
The bolder personality will want to take over again, but Ashley will shush her and insist she’s got this.
After Ashley tells Tucker via text to forget everything she said, she’ll add that she never wants to see him again.
Ashley will seem pleased with herself as she munches on the cherry from her drink, but our predictions point to her behavior raising even more red flags soon.
At Dr. Alcott’s (Catherine Dyer) waiting room, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will just want to leave, so Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will wonder if maybe they should delay the appointment.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will feel like this is too important, so she’ll get Adam to back her up as they head in for a talk with Dr. Alcott.
Although Chelsea will ask Connor to stop fiddling with his hoodie strings and concentrate on the conversation, Dr. Alcott will discuss the importance of treating OCD like a separate thing that’s causing that behavior to manifest.
Dr. Alcott will also suggest residential treatment with a focus on exposure and response prevention – or ERP for short.
Connor won’t want to go to a hospital for sick people, but Dr. Alcott will point out that it’s more like a retreat with people he can relate to.
Chelsea will think that sounds like a good plan, but Connor will seem upset over them not having a soccer team and won’t want to go.
Adam will suggest taking some time to discuss this as a family before they make a decision, so Dr. Alcott will approve.
After Adam takes Connor back to his room at school, Chelsea will stay behind to ask Dr. Alcott some questions.
As Chelsea breaks down in tears, she won’t be sure she’ll be able deal with this.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will need some support to get through this, so we’ll bring you updates on how she’ll cope.
